What is your most memorable wedding?
At NLC Events, one of our most unforgettable weddings was when we took a plain corporate meeting room and transformed it into a breath-taking, romantic wonderland. From the lighting and floral arrangements to every carefully curated detail, the space was completely reimagined to create a magical atmosphere that left the couple and their guests in awe. It was a true testament to the power of creativity and attention to detail.

What I’m most proud of about our business is our ability to completely transform any space into a personalized, magical experience for our clients. From the smallest detail to the overall vision, we bring creativity, precision, and heart to every event. Seeing the joy and amazement on our clients’ faces is truly the most rewarding part of what we do.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My number one wedding planning tip for couples is to fully embrace and enjoy every part of the journey. Weddings can feel overwhelming and stressful at times, but try to focus on the positives and savor each moment—after all, you only get to experience this once! It’s also essential that every decision reflects exactly what you and your partner want. On the big day, you want to look around and feel proud that every detail represents you both, with no regrets—making the day truly yours.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my favourite personal touches I’ve seen at a wedding was when each table was named after a year the couple had been together. On each table, they included quotes from birthday cards, Valentine’s notes, and anniversary messages they had written to each other during that year. It was such a heartfelt and unique way to celebrate their journey as a couple, and it made the day feel incredibly personal and intimate.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
When I start working with a couple, it begins with a friendly phone call to get to know them and their vision for the big day. Next, we have a video call where we dive into all the details—everything from the overall style to the little touches that make the day unique. Using this insight, I create a bespoke wedding package tailored to their budget and wishes. We refine it together until it’s perfect. Once the contract is signed, I love meeting the couple in person to begin the planning journey, turning their dreams into a beautifully curated reality.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
One of the most unusual requests I’ve been asked to plan was to ensure that the bride’s and groom’s families were completely separate throughout the wedding, while still making sure both felt equally included and celebrated. It was a unique challenge in balancing logistics, timing, and attention to detail, but creating a day where everyone felt valued and the couple’s vision was fully realized made it an incredibly rewarding experience.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
I help create a stress-free wedding by handling all the details so the couple can focus on enjoying their special day. From planning and coordinating vendors to managing timelines and anticipating challenges, I make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. My goal is for the couple to feel relaxed, confident, and able to fully immerse themselves in the celebration without worrying about a thing.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
What I love most about my job is being part of a couple’s journey in such a personal way. I treasure the moment they first step into the room and see their dream brought to life—the way their eyes light up, the little gasp or smile that says it all. Later, seeing them completely lost in the joy of their day, surrounded by love and laughter, makes every detail worthwhile. Being there for those unforgettable moments, knowing I helped create the happiest day of their lives, is truly the heart of why I do what I do.

My favourite moment at a wedding is when the couple first walks into the room and sees their dreams come to life. The tears, the smiles, the pure joy in that instant—it’s unforgettable. That moment captures everything the day is about: love, happiness, and the beginning of their life together.
