Your wedding ceremony sets the tone for the entire day. It’s the moment everyone is present, listening, laughing, and feeling something together. My role is to make sure that moment feels right for you. Not awkward. Not rushed. Not generic. Just genuinely you.
I offer bespoke wedding ceremonies that are modern, personal, and confidently delivered, with warmth, laughter, and meaning woven throughout. Every ceremony I create is written from scratch. Nothing is pulled from a template, nothing is reused, and nothing feels like it could belong to another couple.
I work with couples who want their ceremony to feel relaxed, engaging, and memorable. Some want plenty of humour, others want something more emotional, and most want a balance of both. Whatever your style, I’ll shape the ceremony around you, your story, and the atmosphere you want to create.
WEDDING CEREMONIES
I create fully personalised wedding ceremonies for couples who want something more than the standard script.
This includes:
• A relaxed initial meeting to get to know you both properly
• Time spent understanding your story, values, and what matters most to you
• A ceremony written entirely from scratch
• Support with vows, readings, and structure if you want it
• A confident, calm, and engaging delivery on the day
Your ceremony can be light-hearted, emotional, romantic, or a mix of all three. I’ll guide you through what works best, but the final result will always feel natural and comfortable, not staged or over-rehearsed.
LEGAL AND NON-LEGAL CEREMONIES
I offer both legal and non-legal wedding ceremonies, depending on what you need. Some couples want a legally binding ceremony on the day, while others prefer to complete the legal paperwork separately and focus on a fully personalised celebration.
VOW WRITING SUPPORT
Many couples worry about writing their vows. That’s completely normal. I provide guidance and prompts to help you write vows that sound like you.
READINGS, RITUALS, AND PERSONAL TOUCHES
If you’d like to include family, friends, children, or meaningful traditions, I can help you do this in a way that feels natural and unforced.

Are you a Legally authorised celebrant
I can conduct both legal and non-legal wedding ceremonies, anywhere in Scotland, as I am a legal marriage officer.
I’m happy to explain the difference and help you decide what works best for you.
How personal will our ceremony be
Very personal. Every ceremony is written from scratch and shaped around you, your story, and what matters most to you.
I will get to know both of you, so that on the day I have become part of your crew, and will ensure this is reflected in your ceremony.
Will the ceremony be serious of full of fun
It can be either or a mix of both. I love bringing warmth and laughter into ceremonies, while keeping the moment meaningful and respectful.
If you want serious....then thats how it will be, as I can be a serious person when needed.
If you want fun.....right up my street.....then fun and laughter you will have
How do you get to know us as a couple
Through relaxed conversations and simple questions. I take time to understand who you are and how you want your ceremony to feel.
This can be done in person, zoom, phone, whatever suits both of you.
I do like a peppermint tea, so an in person to meet each other initially will be welcomed.
Cab you help us write our vows
Yes. I provide guidance and prompts so your vows sound like you and feel comfortable to say out loud.
Your vows are personal, like your day, and its important that your day reflects you as a couple
What if we dont like public speaking
That’s very common. I’ll guide you gently and keep things relaxed so nothing feels awkward or forced.
My role will be there to help support you at every part of your special day, and you only need to do what you are happy and comfortable with.
Can we choose readings or rituals
Yes. You can bring your own ideas or ask for suggestions. Everything included is chosen to suit you and your ceremony.
The beauty of having me as your celebrant, means there are no restrictions to any elements, beliefs or rituals, you would like added or included in your ceremony.
How far in advance should we book
As soon as you have your date, especially for peak wedding season. I only take on a limited number of weddings each year.
Can family and friends be involved in the ceremony
Absolutely. If you’d like to include loved ones, I’ll help do this in a natural and meaningful way.
As I am a legal marriage officer, I can incorporate and work with loved ones, if you would like them involved, to speak during the ceremony.
What makes you different from other celebrants
I combine professionalism with personality. I care deeply about getting this right, I love fun and laughter, and I make sure your ceremony feels real and engaging.
I dont believe in ticking boxes for any ceremony as each one is unique....unique to you!
