Countryside Weddings. Specialist in marquee and barn weddings. Trained and experienced in the many differences of planning a magnificent marquee wedding. Love woodland ceremonies, even in the rain! Every couple is different so every wedding should be different. When guests arrive, they should know straight away it's your wedding and not 'just another one'. I work with you, leaving you in full control but giving back your time and keeping you stress-free. The Service - The journey starts the first time you contact me. From the initial enquiry you are treated as an individual; a respected individual. I have no response fits all, no pre-made proposal that just has your name and date updated. Instead, I get to understand your requirements, meet your personalities and styles. A wedding is something that only those special to you have the pleasure to be part of so, when you contact me, I am honoured that you would consider me at your wedding. It is not easy decision choosing your wedding suppliers; especially one you need to trust to deliver. As a member of the UKAWP, I abide by all their rules. This includes ensuring all supplier discounts are passed directly back to you and commission is not accepted. Therefore, you get suppliers that have integrity and are honest with their pricing structures. The Investment - There are no two weddings the same. If you want a cookie cutter wedding, I’m not the planner for you. The investment will be based on a series of questions I ask when you enquiry. I consider the number of guests, the location, the potential number of suppliers involved, the budget. I do not create a proposal based on budget only as that would not always be a reflection of the work required. To give you a rough estimate and a starting point, your investment would be a minimum of £6,500 and on average, between 12-15% of your wedding budget.

What is your most memorable wedding?

A DIY marquee wedding. An amazing amount of love and care went into the day and it showed. All the flowers were grown by the mother of the bride in her beautiful garden.

Being able to offer clients exactly what they want. I have no restrictions around what I will or will not do so I really can offer a personalised service to every client.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Remember it is your wedding. There should be things throughout the whole day that remind you of each other and why you are celebrating your love.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Separate room at the evening reception for showing video messages recorded from the wedding guests and people not able to attend. Nice place for the bride and groom to go and relax for a few minutes.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I meet with the couple to be (preferably face to face) to discuss their requirements and where they need help. As all my services are tailored, this is the most important part. Without this I could not give you a personalised service.

After the consultation you are provided with a non-obligation proposal, detailing what we discussed. The proposal is valid for 14 days giving you time to think about it and decide what's right for you.

If you decide to go ahead, you sign and return the contract (with the deposit) and we will work together, making your dream day.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

Living moss on the tables for the Wedding breakfast - along with real, wriggly worms.

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

By listening careful to each and every client, understanding their worries/concerns and providing a professional yet friendly service at all times

Every couple is different meaning every wedding is different. It is amazing helping people live their dream for the day.
