Hello, I’m Angela — the heart behind Love Stories Wedding Celebrant. Based in Ayrshire and covering Glasgow, Central Scotland and beyond, I bring over 20 years of experience in the wedding industry to every ceremony I create.
I began my journey as a wedding photographer, capturing love stories through images. Today, I tell those stories through words — weaving moments, memories and meaning into a ceremony that feels truly yours. I believe your love story deserves far more than a script; it deserves heart, laughter, and a little magic.
From your first date to the adventure of planning forever, I love getting to know what makes your relationship unique. Can you legally marry us?
Yes. I am authorised to conduct legal wedding ceremonies in Scotland, so your ceremony can be both meaningful and legally binding.
How involved can we be in creating our ceremony?
As much as you like! I take time to get to know you and listen to your ideas, ensuring your ceremony reflects your personalities, values and love story.
Can we include personal vows?
Absolutely. Personal vows are a wonderful way to make your ceremony even more meaningful, and I'm happy to help if you'd like guidance writing them.
Can we include Scottish traditions?
Yes! From handfasting and quaich ceremonies to other Scottish traditions, we can incorporate elements that are special to you.
How long does a wedding ceremony usually last?
Most ceremonies last between 20 and 40 minutes, but every ceremony is tailored to suit your preferences.
When should we book our celebrant?
As soon as you have your date and venue secured. Popular dates can book up well in advance.
What if we're nervous about speaking in front of our guests?
That's completely normal! I'll guide you through the ceremony, help you feel at ease, and create a relaxed atmosphere so you can focus on enjoying the moment.
