Hi! My name’s Laura, I’m an independent celebrant based in the Surrey Hills and I love LOVE! As well as being a full time celebrant I’m also a mum and a widow, so I’ve experienced love in many guises.
I provide bespoke ceremonies for all life events with a focus on celebration and love.

What is your most memorable wedding?
My own! Not because it was anything particularly special! But nothing will compare to the love I felt on that day! My aim is to help others get all those feels so that their day is the most memorable wedding they ever attend!

What about your business are you most proud of?
Me, myself and I! As a one man band I'm pretty proud of keeping all the plates spinning whilst supporting my couples with swan like grace!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Meet (online/phone/in person) for a discovery chat, work out we're a good fit, set the date and request a booking fee. Then approximately 6 months before the big day I will contact you with some homework! I need your love story, your dreams for your ceremony. We then work together to write a service that truly reflects you as individuals and a couple, including any symbolic elements you would like as well as including any family/friends you wish to take part in the ceremony. Once the 'script' is agreed I request a 50% payment of the agreed fee. Then prior to the day I request the final payment. On the day I make sure you are both ready and conduct the service for you. Optional extras include vow writing, speech writing, toast writing, rehearsal practice and on the day coordination.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Helping people and holding space for couples to show their love for each other in front of their family and friends.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The kiss obvs!
