My fee for an English-language wedding ceremony is £850 plus travel expenses. This includes a two-hour meeting, either online or in person, where we get to know one another and explore your ideas, hopes and plans for the day. From there, I write a completely bespoke ceremony that reflects your story, your values and your personalities. Before I begin writing, I ask couples to share favourite songs, photographs, memories and stories. It helps me understand not just what happened, but how your relationship feels. I can also advise on readings, music, rituals and the practicalities of involving family and friends in the ceremony. On your wedding day, I am exclusively yours. I arrive in good time, work closely with your venue and suppliers, and deliver your ceremony without the time restrictions often associated with registrar-led ceremonies. I am available by phone, email and WhatsApp throughout the planning process, and I provide a beautifully presented printed copy of your ceremony for you to keep long after the day itself. I also offer ceremonies in German, French and Italian for an additional fee of £250. For reference, I have a degree from Cambridge University in French and German and worked in mainland Europe for many years before returning to the UK. If you would like me to remain after the ceremony and act as Master of Ceremonies for the wedding breakfast and speeches, this can be added for £400. No hidden extras. Every ceremony is written from scratch and crafted with soul.

As a celebrant, writer and storyteller, I create bespoke ceremonies that are warm, personal and completely tailored to you. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering in a garden, a grand country house celebration, or something wonderfully unconventional, my role is to help you create a ceremony that feels authentic, meaningful and memorable.

I begin by getting to know you. We meet in person or online and talk about your relationship, your families, your hopes for the future and the moments that have shaped your journey together. I often ask couples to share favourite songs, photographs, stories and memories. These details help me understand not just the events of your relationship, but its character, humour and heart.

My background is in writing, education and the arts, and I bring those skills to every ceremony I create. Couples often tell me that I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and capture their personalities in a way that feels natural and genuine. My job is a little like being a ghostwriter: finding the words that sound like you, rather than me.

I can help with readings, music, symbolic rituals, family involvement and the practical flow of the ceremony itself. I am also available throughout the planning process by phone, email and WhatsApp, so you always have someone to turn to for advice and reassurance.

I conduct ceremonies in English, French, German and Italian, and I particularly enjoy working with international and bilingual couples.
