What is your most memorable wedding?

The daughter of my friend was getting married, the couple were just so right for each other and so much in love. It wasn't,t long before she started to cry but had no hanky, the groom gave her his which every time she used ... and she used it a lot , she looked across at the groom and he smiled back with a lovely look of love in his eyes, all the guests were so touched. Just a little thing but you could see they meant so much to each other.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Flexible. Traditional. Informal Couple-led Welcoming

What about your business are you most proud of?

Being able to contribute to couples who are making the most important promises of their lives at a fantastic time of celebration of their love.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Start early, get help, try not to be so ambitious and stress for great perfection or you might lose sight of enjoying your day.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I very much likes when a couple who had different first languages chose to say their vows in each other’s language with the guests being given a copy of the vows so that they could understand the couples promises to each other.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Get to know what my couple is looking for and whether I am a good fit for them, agree to work together, information gather using questionnaires or virtual or face to face, when allowed, discussion, keep in contact whilst Ceremony script is being drafted, draft and agree script, have a rehearsal if required before the ceremony, conduct the ceremony, congratulate the couple and sometimes keep in touch.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

Nothing is unusual with Celebrant-led weddings - it’s all about you and can and will be as unique as you both are.

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

Don’t increase your stress levels by trying to please everyone, it’s your day ... plan to enjoy it.

What do you love most about your job?

You want to have a perfect day but don’t take on too much yourselves - lots of people will want to help so don’t be afraid to delegate - but project manage so timescales don’t slip.

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

When all the guests join in the celebration and clap and cheer when the couple have said their vows to each other ... and kissed!
