Kook Events - Wedding Planning & Coordination

We hired April at Kook Events to be our wedding co-ordinator. Honestly, our day wouldn’t have been the same without her. April also brought an assistant who helped so much as well. We owe the smooth running of the whole wedding to April – she is so organised, put me and Jonny at ease, she knew our wedding inside out and she took care of everything on the day and in the days leading up to the wedding. Seriously, everyone needs an April at their “DIY” wedding!!

April understood what we wanted completely. The design completely surpasssed my expectations and she took away all the stress of having to work directly with suppliers

April is simply amazing! We hired a village hall for our wedding and wanted the peace of mind that on the day everything would be looked after so we hired April for on the day coordination and I'm so glad we did. From setting out garden games (and rushing them back inside when it rained!), coordinating with all our other suppliers, helping setup the venue for the evening and even creating a little unplanned but much appreciated snug upstairs for guests, she made sure every bit of our do went perfectly and meant we could just relax and enjoy. Add to that great communication and help in the run-up to the day and generally just being so friendly and professional, I would not hesitate to recommend her. Thank you April so much xxx

A big, BIG shout out to April of Kook Wedding Planning for coordinating the wedding celebrations. April made sure everything ran like clockwork on the day. We cannot recommend wedding planners enough for this type of wedding. They help so much with the setting up, helping suppliers and in general making sure you have a bloody great wedding

We recently hired April to coordinate our homecoming wedding party. From start to finish she was on the ball and understood exactly what we needed. Importantly for both of us, we didn’t have any involvement on the day of the party (because April just got on and dealt with it all) and were able to enjoy ourselves without having to worry about whether the band were on time or if everyone was being fed etc. I highly recommend April and will definitely work with her again in future.

Couldn't recommend April any more, from the first time we met to run through our big plans for the day you were totally on board with ensuring it went perfectly! On the day April and Emily were amazing, so helpful to everyone - even helping one of my Aunties find flip flops when her shoes were rubbing. I am unsure if there were any hiccups at all on the day because it just ran perfectly - you made the day so stress free and perfect. Everything was perfect. April was just amazing - even getting stuck in dancing with the sparklers!! Thank you again so much :)

Hiring April was absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding. She was organised, cheerful, diligent and helpful, and kept everything running to time despite pressure from families and suppliers. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

From the first time April and I chatted, I knew we were on the same level - from our colourful and fun visions for the big day to giggling at ‘erecting tents!’ I knew we had found the perfect person to help bring the last few bits of our planning together and help us coordinate the day itself. April tailored her services to meet our needs for the wedding and did the most AMAZING job! From finding us the perfect band, celebrant, bar and tipi to making sure that the set up and running of the day all ran smoothly - it was all PERFECT! Our friends and family keep telling us it was one of the most personal, unique weddings they’ve ever been to and WE CAN’T THANK APRIL ENOUGH for helping us pull it all off. We had the most magical, perfect, fun-filled day and couldn’t have done it without her - she’s BLOODY BRILLIANT! Thank you April! 💛
