From the moment we first spoke, albeit over zoom, your warmth and kindness shone through and we new we were in safe, supportive hands. Your communication, tips, recommendations and advice through the journey were all fantastic and you really helped guide us through the entire process. You created a service that was spot on and hit all the right points we wanted to cover. On the day you were a reassuring face to see and you put us both at ease again with your warm smile and calm reassurance. It truly felt that you were not just there to lead the logistics but that we were all going on this journey together. We have had so many comments from guests at the wedding who were amazed by you – they remarked on how well you set the tone of the ceremony and spoke so wonderfully. Thank you! Julia made our day really special, and we could not have hoped for a more perfect celebrant. She put together a gorgeous ceremony based on information we had given her, but also her with own unique touch. From the minute we booked her she kept in contact with us and was always available to offer advice and tips and made the entire process calm and fun. Our guests at the wedding told us how much they loved Julia, and how the ceremony felt so personal. Julia really made sure our wedding was unique to us, not just in the words but in how it felt. If you’re weighing up having a celebrant over a local council registrar, there is really no contest – especially if you’re thinking of booking Julia!

Initially, we were both a little unsure whether we wanted to have a legal ceremony or a celebrant. In the end we’re so glad we went with Julia. We had been nervous because our ceremony was such a mix of cultures and religious backgrounds that there were various delicate sensitivities. We were recommended Julia via a wedding planner and from the very first meeting it was clear Julia was capable of handling such a sensitive situation. Her warm and kind manner meant that instantly we felt at ease. The process of designing our ceremony was very simple for us, we both filled in questionnaires which had simple and straight forward questions. With these questionnaires Julia designed a beautiful ceremony for us and it really did feel like it was designed especially for us. This is from one of our guests “I thought she was amazing! The ceremony felt so personal and meaningful and it was clear that she’d taken the time to get to know you both which was reflected in the very personalised ceremony and words she said about your relationship”. Honestly there was not a dry eye in the house, us included. It made us cry, laugh and it really felt beautiful. On the day there were so many logistical difficulties which meant the whole ceremony was delayed by over an hour, but Julia was so incredibly professional, she managed the whole situation; she got everyone into places ready for the right moment, she helped coordinate and then she delivered a stunning ceremony. Honestly, we could not recommend her more.

Julia, thank you so much for the beautiful ceremony. After some searching and misses on finding the right celebrant for our ceremony we were able to find you. Being a couple from the United States, searching for a celebrant abroad was difficult and a little nerve wracking, but our concerns were put to rest from our initial Skype conversation. You were very easy to work with and accommodating especially working from a distance. You crafted a beautiful ceremony for us and enlightened us to a fun Sword and Chalice ceremony that fit perfectly with our Castle wedding venue!

Where to begin? Firstly, Thank you so much from the Very beginning phone call where we spoke about potentially booking yourself through to the end of the ceremony everything you did was perfect. I have to say , we initially searched around for celebrants and nothing fitted or sat right with us, however the moment we spoke with you it was meant to be, you have gone above and beyond every step of the way. Extremely thoughtful, all the gifts and goodies you bought our child to keep them occupied, the help with the vows , the way you wrote such an outstanding ceremony, honestly I couldn’t recommend you more. And just a personal note for yourself , you are an incredibly kind human being, you are warm welcoming and amazing at what you do! Keep being you. Julia was absolutely lovely, she helped us create the perfect ceremony for us. We went through all the details together, tweaking as needed until we were happy with it. It truly was perfect and magical. Thank you!

We visited The Greenway Hotel in Cheltenham to arrange our wedding vows renewal and recommended to Julia Hawkes as a possible celebrant for our ceremony, thank goodness we took their advice! From our first telephone conversation Julia was professional, helpful and friendly without crossing any barriers. After meeting Julia for the first time our decision was made to use this lovely lady for our celebrant. Julia spent many hours writing and rewriting the order of service with changes as we requested and her own suggestions to make a perfectly personalised event. After 41 years of marriage this event meant so much to us both and Julia made that day as special as our wedding day, possibly better as it was personalised to us! Julia was recently the Celebrant for our Wedding and she was outstanding. She held the space beautifully on the day and was 100% committed to ensuring the room itself and all the details of the ceremony were in place. We spent months in the lead up to the Wedding writing the ceremony together and her feedback and support made for a wonderfully unique and special moment.
