What is your most memorable wedding?
Seeing the Bride & Bridegroom off in their special vintage Rolls Royce after a fabulous ceremony and wedding breakfast.

Being able to instil confidence in my clients that their wedding will go off without a hitch. Getting to know them in a planning meeting to feel their vision for the day.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always engage a professional toastmaster who can deliver your vision and remove any concerns. Weddings are an expensive project, why leave anything to chance. Ensure your toastmaster has been professionally trained and is a member of an approved organisation, ie. The Association of The UK School of Professional Toastmasters.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The inclusive way the happy couple had their extended family involved in the celebrations.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I would expect an initial email or telephone contact. A no obligation in person conversation to outline services and charges. Once engaged a contract would be completed including a 50% deposit requested. Going forward, I would be available for advice at any point. At a suitable point prior to the wedding I would have a meeting with the clients at their chosen venue to confirm their wishes and walk through the plan for the day. I always arrive no later than 90 minutes before the starting time to be able to welcome guests.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
The father of the bride making a video presentation as part of his speech, which had to be kept secret from everyone present including the Bride. I can help with surprises but do need to know about them beforehand.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Planning and above all preparation. I will build a professional relationship where th my clients in the time leading up to the wedding. I will have a full understanding of their plan and wishes on how the day should run, how much formality or otherwise they require. Ensure that the time line is kept to allowing the client, their guests and family, especially those making a speech to feel relaxed. My background is in policing and board level decision making, I remain calm and will deal with any unforeseen issues without the clients even needing to know there might be a problem.

Helping the clients and their guests have a fabulous stress free event.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
Bringing the Bride & Brudegroom into the wedding breakfast for their first time as husband and wife, what a privilege to guide the couple through the room to their seats, engaging with the guests to ensure a great welcoming atmosphere.
