What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm most proud when couples thank me for telling their love story beautifully and when their guests come up to say how much they enjoyed the ceremony. Ceremonies are often seen as 'the boring bit' by guests but I specialise in keeping them entertained as much as ensuring that the couple are happy.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Create the memories that you want to have. It's your Big Day and you can do whatever you like, don't worry about what others think. Don't be afraid to have fun.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Step 1. You get in touch. We talk about what you'd like, I tell you more about what to expect.
Step 2. We meet in person or Zoom and I gather details that help me to build the ceremony.
Step 3. I do a first draft of the ceremony and then we run through it and firm up the details. I can read it through or keep the wording secret until the wedding (your choice).
Step 4. If you choose to, and at a time that suits you, we hold a rehearsal.
Step 5. Your Big Day! I'll never double book on a single day - I'm all yours. So whatever hiccups might occur, you can be sure your ceremony will go ahead.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
My favourite moment is when you catch a shared joke between the couple. Seeing how much they love each other as they connect smiling eyes is priceless. I'm a believer in 'meant to be' and at that moment you can tell they're just that.
