I spend time building a connection with both of you, getting to know your personalities, values, your love story and how you would like this brought to life on your wedding day. Your ceremony can be fun, informal, relaxed, quirky or more traditional if you prefer. I can personalise your ceremony with symbolic unity rituals that can be as creative as you wish, which express your unique story. I offer hand fasting, sand ceremonies, tree planting ceremonies, unity shot, candle lighting, wedding time capsule and many more creative ideas to symbolise the union of your lives blending together. If you are unsure what you want, I will be on hand to guide you and together we will create a beautiful, unforgettable ceremony that leaves you and your guests with lasting smiles and memories. You have the freedom to select the elements you want without any strict rules and your ceremony can take place any day, any time and almost anywhere. What is your most memorable wedding?

A couple were desperate for an outdoor boho weddding surrounded by their closest family and friends. The weather had different ideas. We had set the ceremony up in the barn which looked stunning but it wasn’t what the couple wanted deep down and then the sunshine came out. The bride saw the sunshine and asked if it’s possible. I’m a celebrant, i make it possible! I found as many hands to help and we set up the most beautiful ceremony outside looking out onto the rolling Devon hills. The bride and groom had the biggest smile as they were not only marrying the love of their life but they got their dream of an outdoor wedding ceremony, they even had their little dog right by their side. It was just perfect.

Modern, fun, fabulous, unique and creative.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I’m proud that I am such a real, honest and genuine person. When people book me they know what they are getting. I don’t pretend to be anything I’m not. I have a real interest in people, I love hearing peoples dream and then doing my best to bring them to life. I feel privileged to be part of such a magical day and I’m passionate about making it incredible. I want people to remember their wedding ceremony as it’s such an important part of their day.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

When you plan your wedding, really think about your wedding ceremony too. Don’t side step it, after all it’s the reason you’re having a wedding. Choose a wedding ceremony that suits your style and how you wish to say I Do. Have a look at celebrant led weddings, you won’t be disappointed. Even if I’m not the right person for you, there really is a celebrant out there for everyone.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I loved when a step dad turned and said personal vows to their children, the young children then wrapped their arms around him. Oh my gosh, it really was a moment. Everyone had a few happy emotional tears. It was a really heartwarming moment.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

A chat over zoom so you can ask any questions you have and get to know me without any obligation or pressure to book. • If you choose to book I will then send a booking form. • We then arrange a discovery meeting so we can chat all about your ceremony, any ideas you have and all about your wedding. I get to know the both of you, your style and personalities. If you’re not sure what you want, this is a great time for me to make suggestions without overwhelming you. •I send you my couples quiz so you can complete in your own time. • I then weave all this information together and start to draft your script. It stays a draft script until you say your happy with it. •I’m on hand whenever you need me. I can also help with writing vows and finding poems and readings. •on the day I arrive 90 minutes early to help with anything on the day and provide a calm and reassuring prescence. •I then deliver your beautiful wedding ceremony that has been written and created for you. You will feel much more relaxed as you know me well by this point and you know what’s going to happen. It doesn’t feel scary or unknown.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

I don’t actually find anything unusual because if it’s something you love then i enjoy bringing that to life.

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

I’m extremely organised. I ensure there is excellent communication throughout and I always make sure you know what is happening. I have a naturally calm prescence and because I have everything planned out I ensure the day runs smoothly.
