What about your business are you most proud of?
That I'm able to offer a wedding day that is truly unique to the couple involved, with very few restrictions. Dawn or Dusk ceremonies; Home, wedding venue or woodland locations; 2 people to 2000 - seeing what the couple want come to life!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Know what you are capable of DIY wise! Pinterest is great for ideas, and you may want to save money, but remember to either pay yourself or give yourself time! Some things are best left to professionals so you don't sweat it.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Spending time with the family dog for weeks in advance so that he was able to be the ring bearer and trusted myself and the wedding party as his pack
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once you decide to book me, I block off your date (and the day before) in my diary. From there, I will work with you both for about 10 - 15 hours in the run up to the ceremony. It is best to start 6-12 months away, and do this via a number of meetings (in person or online). These meetings let me pick up what is important to you and also your history. Once I have written the first draft of your ceremony, we will work together to tweak it until it is ready.
I'm also on hand as a sounding board for your wedding planning and can help with advice or contacts.
On the day, I am a friendly face at the end of an aisle, encouraging you to relax and enjoy your ceremony.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A horse to be part of the ceremony.... Yup! Clippity Clop...
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
I'll answer all the questions I can for you and happy to be a sounding board.
I'll take you through some mindfulness techniques to practice as we get closer to your wedding day.
I'll remind you to smile!
What do you love most about your job?
The freedom to be creative with your lives mwahaha!
Seriously though, couples who do not want a scripted registry ceremony have a spark about them, and I love mixing with people with a beautiful happy sparkle!
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
Er, ALL of it of course!
