The Final Detail is an event management and wedding planning service built around one simple idea: it's the small things that make the biggest difference.
Three flexible packages mean couples can choose exactly the level of support they need:
- PRE-WEDDING PLANNING (from £1,000) - you've planned the vision. We'll make sure it all comes together for you.
- ON-THE-DAY WEDDING COORDINATION (from £1,250) - you've planned the day. We'll make sure it runs perfectly.
- FULL WEDDING SERVICE (from £3,000) - from the first idea to the final farewell, we've got it covered.
Whatever the choice, The Final Detail takes care of the details so couples don't have to, anticipating problems before they arise and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Working with The Final Detail feels less like hiring a planner and more like having a calm, capable friend in your corner on the day itself.
No two weddings are planned the same way twice, because no two couples are the same either.

Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time planner?
I can offer the full package but you may want to organise some of it yourself or maybe you have a family member or friend that wants to run the day but needs support pre-wedding. I can be completely flexible to what you need.
How much does this normally cost?
Elsewhere, on-the-day coordination typically runs £1,500 to £2,000. The Final Detail sits at the more affordable end of that range.
Do you plan the whole event for me?
It depends on what you need. Some clients want the full service, others prefer just the planning or just the on-the-day support. Get in touch and we can talk through what's best for your event.
What if I change my mind on the package part-way through?
I'm happy to be flexible. If you're halfway through planning and realise you'd like on-the-day support too, we can simply add that on. Equally, if you've booked on-the-day coordination only and need a hand with a few planning elements beforehand, that can be added as well.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you have a date and venue confirmed, the earlier the better, particularly for weekends between May and September. That said, get in touch even if your event is only a few weeks away and I'll let you know what's possible.
Do you cover areas outside Newbury?
Yes. Newbury and the surrounding area are standard, but I'm happy to travel further afield, a small travel fee applies outside the usual coverage area.
What happens if something goes wrong on the day?
That's exactly what I'm there for.
Vendor no-shows, timing hiccups, last-minute changes, it's my job to sort it quietly in the background so it doesn't impact the event.
