Whether you imagine a quiet countryside ceremony or a romantic escape in a historic venue, E-Lope brings your vision to life with care, creativity, and heartfelt expertise.
It’s impossible to choose, but one that stays with us forever is Melissa and Alex’s elopement at the Priory on the Bilsington Estate.
They’d been together for years, travelled the world, raised two children, and didn’t want a big performance, just a moment that felt purely theirs.
Melissa got ready in the Manor House, they signed their marriage documents in the quiet of the Priory, shared Champagne in the bar and outdoors in the meadow, enjoyed dinner in the Tree House overlooking Romney Marsh, and then lifted off in a helicopter bound for their honeymoon in Santorini, waved off by a handful of loved ones, including their two boys.
It was romantic, cinematic, deeply personal… and the perfect reminder of why teeny weddings matter.
And then there was Britain’s first female fighter pilot at the Castle Westenhanger plus a few stories we’re not allowed to share!!!!

Our number one wedding planning tip? Be brave, be wild, and don’t follow the pack, elope.
So many couples feel pressured to plan a wedding that keeps everyone else happy, but the most meaningful celebrations are the ones shaped around you. Wedding planning shouldn’t feel like ticking boxes, managing expectations or performing for a crowd. It should feel like freedom, joy, adventure and intention.
If the idea of an intimate ceremony, breathtaking setting, slow moments together and a day without distractions lights you up, listen to your heart. Your wedding can be teeny, stylish, heartfelt and utterly unforgettable. Whether it’s just the two of you or a handful of your favourite people, choosing to elope gives you permission to prioritise connection over convention.
Because the best wedding planning decision you’ll ever make is the one that feels like coming home to each other.
One of our favourite personal touches was a couple who trusted us with the biggest secret, they were expecting (this wasn't our first baby reveal). But on this occation we helped them weave the news into their day with handwritten letters for each guest, and when everyone opened them at the same time, the room erupted into joyful tears. It was the perfect reminder of why they’d chosen a tiny wedding with only the people who truly mattered.
And then there was Stuart, who asked us to help him plan a surprise proposal. As his soon-to-be wife walked down the aisle, he got down on one knee and revealed the engagement ring. Tears, hugs, tears, more tears and then we finally married them.
Because with teeny weddings, personal touches stay personal, protected, cherished, and revealed at exactly the right time.
Our process is intentionally simple, calm and personal, designed for couples who want a meaningful, beautifully organised and private teeny wedding.
It begins with an enquiry, followed by a call where we get to know you, hear your story, understand your priorities, and help you choose the right venue and elopement package.
Once you’re ready, we secure your date, manage the booking with Kent County Council and take care of all supplier coordination, photography, flowers, cake, catering, music and more. We handle payments, logistics, timelines, ceremony details and legal requirements, so nothing gets missed and you never feel overwhelmed.
In the lead-up to your day, we refine the styling, personalise the experience, and stay in regular contact. On the wedding day, we’re there to welcome you, pour the Champagne, etc
From first conversation to final send-off, our goal is the same, a tiny wedding that feels like the truest expression of your love story.
Tiny weddings invite imagination. Because when the day is small, the possibilities get bigger. You’re not trying to please a room of 120, you’re creating something meaningful for the two of you. Our job is to listen, protect the surprise, handle the logistics, and make even the most unusual request feel effortless.
We’ve loved organising private safaris at Port Lympne — from feeding the giraffes to quiet, magical moments with the tapirs feeding them sweet bananas, experiences you’d never fit into a traditional wedding day.
Tiny weddings don’t just allow imagination, we celebrate it.
For us, a calm wedding isn’t accidental, it’s designed.
We start by truly understanding what matters to you, then we build a clear, realistic timeline and bring in trusted suppliers who work beautifully together. We handle bookings, payments, logistics, legalities, styling and all communication, so there’s no juggling or chasing on your side.
In the lead-up, we keep in touch, answer questions before they become worries, and make sure everyone, including registrars, caterers, photographers and florists — has the same plan.
On the day, we’re there from the moment you arrive: welcoming you, supporting your photographer, pouring Champagne, guiding the pace, quietly solving anything that pops up, and making sure you eat, breathe and enjoy every second.
Because when someone experienced is holding the details, you’re free to be fully present, and that’s what makes a teeny wedding feel effortless.
We are proud to have supported more than 100 couples in celebrating their marriage in a beautifully intimate way.
Since launching E-Lope, we’ve planned tiny weddings across some of Kent’s most meaningful and atmospheric venues, including Bilsington Priory, The Castle Westenhanger, Allington Castle, Chapel House Estate, Port Lympne and more.
Every celebration has been different, some quiet and private with just us as the couple's two witnesses, others filled with joyful surprises, tree-house dinners or even a safari moment with giraffes, but each one has been centred on love, connection and intention.
That milestone isn’t just a number to us. It represents trust, care and the privilege of helping couples create a day that feels entirely their own. And we can’t wait to meet the next hundred.
I can’t begin to describe what it’s like when it’s just the legal team and us looking after a couple, no audience, no performance, just two people quietly choosing each other. It’s intimate, private, powerful… and yes, completely tear-jerking. Those are the moments that stay with us forever.
