During their celebrant ceremony, the couple planted an apple tree, symbolizing the growth of their love. As their love flourished, so would the tree, providing apples they could later use to bake sweet treats for their family.

Once a couple reaches out, we’ll schedule an initial consultation, which can take place over video call, at their home, or at a coffee shop—wherever is most convenient. During this meeting, we’ll discuss their wedding planning needs, where they are in the process, and their vision for the day. I’ll take the time to understand what’s most important to them. If they decide to move forward, I’ll send over the T&Cs and contract to get the formalities out of the way. From there, the next steps will depend on the package they choose, but we’ll stay in regular contact, and I’ll create a to-do list to keep everything organised and ensure we’re all on the same page.

A couple wanted a spectacular finale to their day, but since their venue didn’t allow fireworks, they asked me to arrange a 100-person choir to serenade their guests. The biggest challenge was that, due to the size of the choir, they had to perform outdoors, meaning rain would have forced us to cancel. Despite the risk, the couple were willing to take a chance—and, luckily, the weather held out, allowing us to deliver an unforgettable performance!

I always build extra time into the day to accommodate any delays. While I strive to keep things on track, I understand that unexpected events happen. As long as the ceremony and wedding breakfast run on time, everything else will fall into place. I ensure the couple’s priorities are mine too. For outdoor weddings, I make sure there’s a wet weather plan, and I advise couples to choose venues with indoor options they’re happy with, as that space could become their wedding day backdrop. I recommend trusted suppliers, and if they’re unavailable, I thoroughly research alternatives to ensure they won’t disappoint. I encourage couples to embrace imperfections—after all, it’s about the love and celebration. Don’t sweat the small stuff; I’ll handle any hiccups behind the scenes, ensuring neither the couple or guests are aware of anything that goes awry.
