What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I adore seeing the wedding rings on display...for all guests to see. It also truly relaxes a best man who no longer has to keep checking his pockets for them!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Starting with a free chat or meeting with no obligation, to establish we are in deed right for each other! Then follows unlimited communications and lots of ideas exchanged.. eliminated...built upon until every word, action and element of the ceremo y is 'just right' and is finally signed off!
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
The exit of the guests from the ceremony area, before the couple .....to enable all the guests to form an avenue down which the couple ran .....ending by them jumping high over a besom broom! They then kissed and were announced as Mr Mrs.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
I ensure the couple are relaxed and at ease by being fully aware of the entire content of their ceremony and being completely involved in its planning and creation. On the day everything is rehearsed with both Bride and bridegroom and when delivering the ceremony I guide them through every element. Telling them their name and the name of the person they are marrying!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
I adore love. It is the greatest of all human emotions....... being both immeasurable but so real and felt in the heart of two people in love. I love the experience and feel of that love and the sheer joy it brings to my job.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The moment of a 'heart to heart' when I ask my couples to feel that love in their hearts and embrace to feel the physical beating of their hearts and the chemistry that exists between them.
