Having been an actor in West End Musical Theatre for nearly 40 years, I am thrilled in my current role of Civil Wedding Celebrant. Based in Brighton, I am a true water-baby, often out swimming or paddleboarding! I am an proactive part of the LGBTQ+ community and provide a fully inclusive service.
As a voice actor, you can expect a crystal clear delivery on your special day.

Providing bespoke, personalised marriage ceremonies for wedding, civil partnership, commitment and Renewal of Vows.
As a voice actor, you can expect crystal clear delivery on the day.
I look forward to chatting to you, so that I can make your Love Story the focus of your ceremony and help to make it the most memorable part of your special day.
I am happy to help with suggesting other elements including music, poetry, readings and symbolic actions to add colour to the ceremony. These include Handfasting, Unity Candles, Tree Planting, Sand Mixing, even Cocktail Mixing!
I provide a fully inclusive service, being a proactive part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
following the initial enquiry from you, I will email to arrange a phone call to check availability and to begin to understand your wishes. If you decide that you would like to move forward, I we can arrange a meeting (hopefully in person, or on Zoom, etc) At this point I would like to learn about you; how you met and how the relationship progressed to your intended union, your personalities and lifestyles and the ways we can work together to make your day perfect.
On receiving the deposit, I will compose the draft of your ceremony, which you will be able to check and critique until it is exactly what you wish for.
On the day, I will arrive early to meet you and the other suppliers including photographers etc, to make sure we're all 'on the same page'!
I will help to make you feel relaxed and comfortable as you appear 'centre-stage' as the focus of your ceremony.
I will deliver your ceremony with joy, enthusiasm and crystal clear voice.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
As a part of their 30 year Renewal of Vows Ceremony, I was asked to sing the song which they had their 'first dance' to!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Regular contact, when required, throughout the process of creating the ceremony, until you are confident that it is perfect. My warm, friendly attitude will put you at ease on the day.
What do you love most about your job?
Playing a small but vital role in such a special day.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The vows!
