With almost 25 years in the wedding industry, I know how important this moment is. There are no templates or recycled scripts—just hours spent getting to know each couple, understanding their journey and crafting a ceremony that is uniquely theirs. I'm also incredibly proud that so much of my business comes from recommendations by past couples, wedding planners, photographers and venues. Knowing that people who have experienced my ceremonies want to recommend me to others means the world, and it's something I never take for granted.

My number one piece of advice is this: never lose sight of the reason you're planning your wedding in the first place—you're marrying the person you love.

It's so easy to become caught up in seating plans, timelines and all the little details, but your guests won't remember what colour your napkins were or whether the favours matched the flowers. They will remember how your wedding made them feel, and your ceremony is where that feeling begins.

That's such a difficult question because every wedding is wonderfully different, but if I had to choose, it would be the personal vows.

I've witnessed grand entrances, surprise choirs, beloved dogs delivering the rings, and some truly beautiful symbolic rituals. Yet, nothing compares to the moment two people look into each other's eyes and share words they've written just for one another. It's often the quietest part of the ceremony, but it's also the most powerful. There are usually smiles, plenty of laughter, and almost always a few happy tears—not just from the couple, but from everyone watching.

Those are the moments that can't be bought or recreated. They are deeply personal, completely unique, and become memories that last a lifetime. That's why I always encourage my couples to include touches that genuinely reflect who they are, because it's those heartfelt details that transform a beautiful wedding into an unforgettable one.

You'll receive your draft well before your wedding, with unlimited opportunities to make changes until every word feels perfect. Whether you'd like help writing your vows, incorporating symbolic rituals such as handfasting or a unity candle, or adding personal touches, I'll guide you every step of the way.

On your wedding day, I arrive early to ensure everything is just right before delivering a ceremony filled with love, laughter and heartfelt moments. Every couple also receives a beautiful ceremonial certificate and a keepsake copy of their ceremony script to treasure forever.

One of the things I love most about being a Wedding Celebrant is that no two ceremonies are ever the same! Over the years I've had the privilege of creating everything from elegant black-tie celebrations to woodland weddings, surprise flash mobs, ring security performed by four-legged friends, and ceremonies featuring alpacas, owls and even birds of prey.

I'll help with everything from writing your vows and choosing readings to incorporating meaningful rituals, ensuring every detail feels effortless and personal.

On the day itself, I arrive well before your ceremony begins, liaise with your venue and suppliers, coordinate everyone involved and quietly take care of all the ceremony logistics. That means you can simply enjoy every moment, knowing everything is in safe hands.
