Celebration Ceremonies & Weddings Full Description
Some couples worry about being different, our couples worry about being the same! Whatever your style, we want you to feel "this is us" and I'm sure you will see how refreshingly different and personal our ceremonies can be. We specialise in unique and personal ceremonies & weddings held just about any location of your choice; private homes, estates and gardens, off the beaten track and outdoor locations and any style so you are in the right place whether your style is English country garden to festival to boho! Our ceremonies are written for and about you to to reflect your personalities, style and tell your story. There are no set rules, traditions or etiquette unless you want there to be. You are free to choose which are meaningful to you, give them a new take or break them completely, it's entirely up to you. You can incorporate your own choice of music, readings, poems, secular/religious/spiritual content or we can help, and of course you can include your own declarations and promises to each other. We aim to make our ceremonies the most important and memorable part of the day here's what one of our couples said about their ceremony, we'd rather you hear it from them: "And about our amazing ceremony - what can we say. You made our day. Everything was just as we wanted and a whole heap more! As soon as we met you that first time, we know you were absolutely the right person for our ceremony. We have had so many lovely comments about our day, and many many comments on how everyone felt so much a part of our ceremony. Words such as 'moving, beautiful, perfect, unique, epic, full of love'. And 'where did you find that celebrant, she was fab!!'. Thank you for leading us through the process so everything was just right. We felt so much love in the room. I'm still trying to express in words how we felt on the day, and still it is so hard! But what we do know is how much of a part of it you were. So thank you lovely Jan once again. " Sarah & Suzi

What is your most memorable wedding?

Ooo this is hard, they are all memorable, that's the name of our game!!! The best ones are the ones where the couples are just themselves so I suppose if I'm pushed I would say Kristian and Leanne's Country and Western wedding. If I had to choose one work to describe this awesome couple it would have been 'fun' and their whole day reflected this right down to the last details. Themed weddings can only go one of two ways; 'tacky' or 'cool' and we certainly don't do tacky! Everyone had to join in Kristian had booked a Mustang for the weekend as a little wedding treat to himself so I thought it would have been a lost opportunity if we didn't incorporate it into the ceremony! He and his best man made their own entrance out side the barn, handbrake turns and all in true cowboy style much to the amazement of their guests. The cowgirl flower girls, bridesmaids and the bride followed dancing down the aisle in her Country and western style dress that she had made herself to "A little less conversation' by Elvis and we swapped confetti for cap guns. The atmosphere was fab! Everything down to the small details was just fun and we had the best time working with them, writing their ceremony script and co-ordinating their day. I could go on.......

What about your business are you most proud of?

Our reputation for reinventing what a wedding ceremony can be and making them so personal. The fact that we have three couples who are all friends and have been to each others weddings and knowing that they booked us because they knew their wedding ceremonies would be equally amazing but so very different and unique.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

ALWAYS DO IT YOUR WAY and don't underestimate the difference your ceremony can make to your day and your memories of it.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

The grooms hand knitted socks with half the bride and grooms names on one foot and the other half on the other foot - so sweet and beautifully made by the mother of the bride.

We start with a questionnaire followed by a face to face consultation over coffee and cake then a few weeks later you have your 'first read' of your script . Rehearsals are held on site the day before with all participants. Then we rock n Roll baby!

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

To conduct a ceremony with no guests just the bride and groom in a hotel bedroom.

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

Spreadsheets and god communication...and wine!

What do you love most about your job?

Meeting so may lovely people from all walks of life and the satisfaction of a job well done. When the father of the groom says after the ceremony " I've been to a lot of funerals and a lot of wedding, but this is something you only get experience once in a lifetime!'

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

Listening to the couples promises and declarations to each other when they have kept them secret until the day.
