Ooo this is hard, they are all memorable, that's the name of our game!!! The best ones are the ones where the couples are just themselves so I suppose if I'm pushed I would say Kristian and Leanne's Country and Western wedding. If I had to choose one work to describe this awesome couple it would have been 'fun' and their whole day reflected this right down to the last details. Themed weddings can only go one of two ways; 'tacky' or 'cool' and we certainly don't do tacky! Everyone had to join in Kristian had booked a Mustang for the weekend as a little wedding treat to himself so I thought it would have been a lost opportunity if we didn't incorporate it into the ceremony! He and his best man made their own entrance out side the barn, handbrake turns and all in true cowboy style much to the amazement of their guests. The cowgirl flower girls, bridesmaids and the bride followed dancing down the aisle in her Country and western style dress that she had made herself to "A little less conversation' by Elvis and we swapped confetti for cap guns. The atmosphere was fab! Everything down to the small details was just fun and we had the best time working with them, writing their ceremony script and co-ordinating their day. I could go on.......
relaxed personal unique creative storytelling
Our reputation for reinventing what a wedding ceremony can be and making them so personal. The fact that we have three couples who are all friends and have been to each others weddings and knowing that they booked us because they knew their wedding ceremonies would be equally amazing but so very different and unique.
ALWAYS DO IT YOUR WAY and don't underestimate the difference your ceremony can make to your day and your memories of it.
The grooms hand knitted socks with half the bride and grooms names on one foot and the other half on the other foot - so sweet and beautifully made by the mother of the bride.
We start with a questionnaire followed by a face to face consultation over coffee and cake then a few weeks later you have your 'first read' of your script . Rehearsals are held on site the day before with all participants. Then we rock n Roll baby!
To conduct a ceremony with no guests just the bride and groom in a hotel bedroom.
Spreadsheets and god communication...and wine!
Meeting so may lovely people from all walks of life and the satisfaction of a job well done. When the father of the groom says after the ceremony " I've been to a lot of funerals and a lot of wedding, but this is something you only get experience once in a lifetime!'
Listening to the couples promises and declarations to each other when they have kept them secret until the day.
