There is considerable scope for creativity and personalisation in a humanist ceremony; my role as your celebrant will be to create for you a ceremony that’s about both of you. There’s no set script, I will write a tailored ceremony based on conversations I have with you and your partner. I will also discuss with you and develop any ideas you may want to incorporate into your wedding. If you’ve ever dreamt about a wedding set to the theme of the movie “Titanic”, one based on the songs of Meatloaf or would prefer something a little more akin to a traditional style of marriage ceremony all of these ideas and more can be part of your wedding if you wish. I have been performing, directing and generally spending time being heard in large rooms for well over 20 years now. Throughout my working life I have engaged in public speaking on an almost daily occurrence. Be it in gale force winds up the side of a mountain or in the middle of a farm surrounded by animals I will make sure you and your guests hear every word of your ceremony! I don’t take many ceremonies as I am currently first and foremost a Dad to two great kids, which means I tend to have pretty good availability and will be fully committed to your day.
