I’m on a mission to make your ceremony the best, most fun bit of your wedding. A Carrie Celebrates ceremony takes all the usual rules of a wedding and drop-kicks them out the window. So if you want something different for your big day, something that reflects who you are - read on dear friend!
A ceremony with me is fun, maybe a bit sweary (cover your ears granny), and celebrates you and your lives together. I’ll get to know you like friends (beers anyone?) and build your ceremony from scratch so that together we can create something beyond your dreams.
Everything that happens during your ceremony will be because that’s what you want to happen - there’ll be no staged book signing if you don’t want it, and there’ll be absolutely none of the generic ‘insert name here’ crap.
I’m super organised, a real problem solver, and stay cool in a tight spot, so I’m a great person to have in your corner. I’m also an ideas kind of person - bring me your wildest ideas and I’ll do everything I can to make them reality. Or if you need a bit of help and inspiration for your ceremony, I've got you!
If you want a wedding ceremony that’s 100% you - let's talk.
I’m based in East Sussex but will go anywhere for a good time
Marrying two wonderful people on the terrace of their home, overlooking the see. It featured a dance off, Kylie singalong, and symbolic wine toast. So uplifting and joyful!

Wedding planning doesn't have to be stressful! Try to enjoy it, find the fun in it together, and remember it's supposed to be a celebration.
I'll have an initial Zoom call with couples to make sure we're a good fit and on the same page about what they want from their ceremony. If they decide to go ahead and book, once I've got over the excitement I'll send a contract to sign and a 50% deposit secures your date. Now comes the fun stuff - a couples questionnaire to get all the details of your journey together so far, an in person meet up (drinks?) to get to know each other better and start planning, and lots more contact along the way so I can tell your story in an authentic way. Some couples like to see the script before the wedding, some like to keep it aa surprise and some do a combo off the two. If you want to see it beforehand I'll get a draft to you six weeks before your big day and we can work on any changes or additions you might want. The final script will be ready one month before the wedding and that's when I'll also need you to pay the other 50% of my fee. On the day of your wedding, I'll get to the venue at least an hour beforehand to make sure everything is set up how it should be. I also like to mingle with guests a bit and see the couple, if possible, to make sure you're ok with everything and calm any nerves you might be having. Then it's ceremony time and we get the party started - we laugh, we cry, maybe we sing and dance, but most of all we celebrate your love! In the blink of an eye, the ceremony is done and it's time for drinks, food, and dancing. And because weddings do pass in the blink of an eye, I'll send you a special copy of your ceremony script so you can look back on it in tears to come.
I use my calm energy, problem solving skills, and humour to help keep a low stress vibe going throughout the process.
I love meeting people and hearing their stories. I believe everyone is fascinating in their own way. It's amazing how often people will say "I'm just really normal and boring" then it turns out they've got the biggest collection of spiders in the UK or they're a talented tap dancer!
I love when I see guests turning to each other and agreeing with something I've said about the couple - like I've captured them, their personalities and their lives so well that their closest people identify with it.
