Hi, I am Carolanne, and I am here to make your wedding day truly special.
As an Interfaith Minister, I have the privilege of writing and conducting ceremonies that honour any religion or none at all. I can seamlessly weave in elements of religion or spirituality if you wish or create a completely secular ceremony. My focus is always on you and your personal choices, ensuring your ceremony is a true reflection of who you are.
I believe that every individual is worth celebrating and that our uniqueness should shine through in our ceremonies. Authenticity is at the heart of what I do, encouraging you to be true to who you are and allowing that to be reflected throughout your special day.
Described as quirky, respectful, joyful, and nurturing, I bring a balance of sensitivity and exuberance to every event. I'm a good listener, dedicated to truly seeing and hearing you, and I offer just the right amount of support and guidance to create a ceremony that is uniquely yours.
My goal is to understand exactly what kind of ceremony you envision. Whether you desire a formal and traditional ceremony, something fun and quirky, a themed extravaganza, or a relaxed and calm affair, I am flexible and adaptable to your needs. What is your most memorable wedding?
All are memorable. One that stands out is a spontaneous cornetto appearing during the ceremony because the groom never let a day go by where he did not have one, however a little teasing from me and he never got one that day either - but I enjoyed the cornetto, the same wedding the grooms step daughter acknowledged the groom in a surprise 'adoption' ceremony at the end, where she thanked him for all he had done, exchanged bracelets and officially acknowledged him as Dad.

I am incredibly proud of the role I play in helping couples commit to and celebrate their love. Being a part of their unique journey is truly special to me. I take immense pride in offering a dedicated, personalized service that ensures each ceremony is as unique as the love story it honours. It's deeply fulfilling to create meaningful moments that reflect the couple's individuality and bond, making their special day memorable and heartfelt.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Prioritize what matters most to you as a couple. Reflect on the elements that are truly meaningful to you, whether it's the vows, the music, the readings, or specific rituals. Focus on incorporating these aspects into your ceremony, and don't be afraid to personalize traditions to better reflect your unique relationship. What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
So many lovely examples to choose from - African chanting, singing and dancing, the bride leading guests through a song - each guest having their own line to sing, the groom singing his vows, poems written and read by family members - every wedding is unique and personal and all are beautiful.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We connect initially for a brief chat to establish whether we are the 'right fit', once booking is confirmed we will exchange emails, meet/chat and get to know one another a little. I will send questions for you to answer individually to help me get a sense of who you are and how to craft your ceremony. I will guide you through the paperwork and answer questions along the way. I will draft a ceremony and we will discuss it and make changes if necessary until it feels just right, and then sprinkle it with magic ready for the big day. On the day I will generally meet either one or both before the ceremony, check over the schedule and legal requirements and when all in order and everyone has arrived we will start the ceremony.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
Our journey begins with an initial chat, either over the phone or via video call, to ensure that we are the right fit for each other. This brief conversation helps us get a sense of your vision for the ceremony and ensures that my style aligns with your expectations.
Booking Confirmation:
Once you decide to book my services, we’ll move forward with confirming the details. This marks the start of our collaborative journey, where we will exchange emails, have meetings or chats, and get to know each other better.
Getting to Know You:
To craft a ceremony that truly reflects your unique love story, I will send you a set of questions to answer individually. These questions are designed to give me deeper insights into who you are as individuals and as a couple. Your responses will help shape the tone and content of the ceremony, ensuring it is personal and meaningful.
Guidance and Support:
Throughout the planning process, I will guide you through all necessary paperwork and legal requirements, answering any questions you may have along the way. My goal is to make this part of the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for you.
Drafting the Ceremony:
I will draft a ceremony script based on our discussions and your questionnaire responses. We will then review the draft together, discussing any changes or additions you would like to make until it feels just right. This collaborative process ensures that the ceremony is tailored perfectly to your wishes and sprinkled with a touch of magic.
Final Preparations:
On the day of the wedding, I will generally meet with either one or both of you before the ceremony. This final check-in allows us to review the schedule and confirm all legal requirements. Once everything is in order and all guests have arrived, we will proceed with the ceremony.
By the time the big day arrives, you can be confident that every detail has been thoughtfully considered and that your ceremony will be a true reflection of your love and commitment.

As a celebrant, what I love most about my job is the profound privilege of being a part of a couple's journey as they commit to each other in love. Every ceremony is a unique story, and I get to help tell that story in a way that is deeply meaningful to the couple and their loved ones.
I cherish the opportunity to connect with couples, getting to know them and understanding their unique love story. Crafting a personalized ceremony that reflects their personalities, values, and dreams is incredibly fulfilling.
Additionally, witnessing the genuine emotions and joy on the couple's faces as they exchange vows and promises is a truly rewarding experience. Knowing that I have helped create a memorable and heartfelt moment that they will cherish for a lifetime gives me immense satisfaction.
