Congratulations on your engagement!
Your wedding ceremony is the heart of your wedding day. Long after the flowers have faded and the cake has been eaten, it is the ceremony that will stay in your hearts and in the memories of those who shared your special day.
I'm an Ordained Interfaith Minister and registered Scottish wedding celebrant, creating bespoke ceremonies across Scotland.
Every ceremony I write is completely unique. I take the time to get to know you, your story, your personalities and what matters most, creating a ceremony that feels authentic, meaningful and unmistakably yours. Whether you dream of laughter, happy tears, deep spirituality or something beautifully simple, together we'll create a ceremony that reflects who you are.
I welcome couples of every faith, mixed-faith couples and those with no religious beliefs at all. My ceremonies are inclusive, warm, relaxed and thoughtfully written, allowing every couple to feel seen, respected and celebrated.
From intimate elopements on a Scottish mountainside to elegant castle weddings, woodland ceremonies, family celebrations and luxury venues, I am honoured to marry couples in some of Scotland's most beautiful locations.
Alongside legal marriage ceremonies, I can also incorporate symbolic rituals including Handfasting, Quaich Ceremonies, Ring Warming, Oathing Stones, Unity Rituals, Family Blessings and Moments of Remembrance.
My promise is simple: no templates, no scripts copied from elsewhere and no rushed ceremonies. Just a heartfelt ceremony written especially for you, with unlimited support throughout your planning journey and my complete attention on your wedding day.

All are memorable. One that stands out is a spontaneous cornetto appearing during the ceremony because the groom never let a day go by where he did not have one, however a little teasing from me and he never got one that day either - but I enjoyed the cornetto, the same wedding the grooms step daughter acknowledged the groom in a surprise 'adoption' ceremony at the end, where she thanked him for all he had done, exchanged bracelets and officially acknowledged him as Dad.
Creative, Passionate, Engaging, Warm and Humorous
I am incredibly proud of the role I play in helping couples commit to and celebrate their love. Being a part of their unique journey is truly special to me. I take immense pride in offering a dedicated, personalized service that ensures each ceremony is as unique as the love story it honours. It's deeply fulfilling to create meaningful moments that reflect the couple's individuality and bond, making their special day memorable and heartfelt.
Prioritize what matters most to you as a couple. Reflect on the elements that are truly meaningful to you, whether it's the vows, the music, the readings, or specific rituals. Focus on incorporating these aspects into your ceremony, and don't be afraid to personalize traditions to better reflect your unique relationship. This will make your ceremony feel authentic and memorable, ensuring that it resonates with both you and your guests. Relax and enjoy the experience and leave the professionals to take the stress
So many lovely examples to choose from - African chanting, singing and dancing, the bride leading guests through a song - each guest having their own line to sing, the groom singing his vows, poems written and read by family members - every wedding is unique and personal and all are beautiful.
From our first conversation, my aim is to make planning your ceremony enjoyable and stress-free. We begin with a relaxed, no-obligation chat to get to know each other and discuss your vision. Once booked, I'll send you questionnaires to help me discover your story, personalities and what makes your relationship unique. We'll then meet to explore ideas, vows, readings and any symbolic rituals you'd like to include. Every ceremony is written completely from scratch—never from templates—and you'll have the opportunity to review it before your wedding. I'm here to guide and support you throughout the planning process, answering questions and offering advice whenever needed. On your wedding day, I arrive early, work closely with your venue and suppliers, and deliver a heartfelt, relaxed ceremony that is truly personal, meaningful and unforgettable.
People often expect me to say something wild, but for me, every ceremony is unique because every couple is unique. I've had the privilege of planning surprise weddings, intimate mountain elopements, woodland handfastings, ceremonies beside waterfalls, and vow renewals for couples travelling from overseas to celebrate their love in Scotland. I've also helped blend different faiths, cultures and family traditions into one meaningful ceremony.
The most unusual requests are often the most personal—finding ways to include loved ones who are no longer with us, involving beloved pets, or creating completely new rituals that have never been part of a ceremony before. Those are the moments I love most, because they create something truly one of a kind.
A stress-free ceremony begins long before your wedding day. From the moment you book, I'll guide you through each step, answer your questions and be on hand whenever you need advice or reassurance.
I take the time to really get to know you, so your ceremony feels natural and personal rather than something you have to worry about. You'll have the opportunity to review your ceremony beforehand, and I'll help with everything from writing vows to choosing meaningful symbolic rituals.
On the day itself, I arrive early, liaise with your venue and suppliers, and quietly keep everything running smoothly. My calm, friendly approach helps everyone relax, allowing you to be fully present and enjoy every moment.
My goal is simple: you focus on marrying the person you love, while I take care of the ceremony.
Remember that your wedding is about your marriage, not about meeting everyone else's expectations.
It's easy to get caught up in trends, traditions and trying to please family and friends, but the most memorable weddings are the ones that genuinely reflect the couple. Choose the things that matter to you, let go of the things that don't, and make space to enjoy the journey together.
Your guests won't remember whether every detail was perfect—they'll remember how your wedding made them feel. When your ceremony is authentic, relaxed and full of love, that's what creates lasting memories.
My favourite moment is the one just before the ceremony begins, when everything suddenly goes quiet. There’s a beautiful sense of anticipation as two lives are about to become one, and you can feel the love, excitement and emotion in the room.
A close second is seeing the couple’s faces as they truly look at each other during their vows. In that moment, everything else fades away. It’s genuine, unfiltered and often filled with laughter, happy tears or both. Being trusted to stand with couples during one of the most meaningful moments of their lives is a privilege I never take for granted.
