What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A couple once added envelopes with personal messages for their guests as a wedding favour. Obviously, this works more for intimate weddings, but this gesture was very touching and made each guest feel incredibly special and appreciated. It added a deeply personal and heartfelt element to the celebration, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
Masquerade themed wedding. The couple wanted an evening filled with mystery and elegance, complete with guests in ornate masks, lavish décor, and a grand ballroom atmosphere. We incorporated elements like chandeliers, rich fabrics, and dramatic lighting to create a magical setting. It was a unique and enchanting celebration that left a lasting impression on everyone involved.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
There’s no such thing as a completely stress-free wedding, haha! However, we can certainly illiminate the stress. I believe that every problem has a solution, and it’s all about maintaining a positive attitude. You need to trust that no matter how the day unfolds, it will always be perfect. That’s why Cana Wedding is here- to share the load by staying organised, communicating effectively, being flexible, and ensuring you enjoy every moment of your wedding day.
What do you love most about your job?
Bringing joy to couples on their special day. A wedding is like an iceberg; we see the stunning end result, but so much goes on beneath the surface to make it magical and seeing all the planning come together to create a beautiful celebration is incredibly rewarding. I enjoy the creative freedom to design unique weddings that reflect each couple’s love story. It's safe to say that no day is the same- each wedding brings new challenges and adventures.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The ceremony, the 'I do's', the moment the couple become one. It’s easy to get caught up in the details and festivities, but this moment brings everything back to the true purpose of the event—the actual marriage. It’s a beautiful reminder of the love and commitment that the entire celebration is built around. And of course...the party! It’s the moment when everyone can unwind and relax because the formalities are done, and it’s time to celebrate.
