What makes By Sophia Antoinette different from other wedding planners?
With over 25 years of experience in hospitality, weddings and events, I bring a unique understanding of both the creative and operational sides of a wedding. Having worked extensively within luxury venues, I understand what it takes to deliver an exceptional celebration behind the scenes. My approach is personal, thoughtful and detail-led, ensuring your wedding feels as beautiful as it looks.
Do we really need a wedding planner if our venue has a wedding coordinator?
Venue coordinators are invaluable, but their primary responsibility is the venue and its services. As your independent wedding planner, I focus on the entire celebration, coordinating the different elements and suppliers while keeping your priorities at the heart of every decision. Having worked on the venue side myself, I understand how to work collaboratively with venue teams to create a seamless experience.
We've already planned most of our wedding. Can you still help?
Absolutely. Our Wedding Management service is designed for couples who have planned their celebration but would appreciate professional support in the final stages. I'll review the arrangements, coordinate with suppliers, develop a detailed wedding-day timeline and oversee the celebrations so you can relax and enjoy every moment.
Do you only plan large, luxury weddings?
Not at all. To me, luxury is about the experience rather than the size of the celebration. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand occasion, I believe every wedding deserves thoughtful planning, beautiful details and a genuinely personal approach.
Can you help us find wedding suppliers?
Yes. Supplier sourcing and recommendations form part of our Full Wedding Planning & Design service. I can help identify professionals whose style, experience and services align with your vision and budget. You'll always remain involved in the decisions, ensuring your wedding reflects your preferences.
Where do you offer wedding planning services?
By Sophia Antoinette is based in Birmingham and works with couples throughout the West Midlands, including Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire. We also welcome enquiries for weddings further afield, with travel requirements discussed as part of your personalised proposal.
