A destination wedding I planned in Rome for a fusion couple. A Ghanaian bride and English groom who both lived in Kent. They have now relocated to Amsterdam and we are still in touch on a regular basis.
Bold, luxurious, classy, opulent.
"Just-beacuse" will be my fifth one!
The opportunity to bring, ideas and dreams to live.
Be honest about what you really want. Be honest with each other, your family and with your vendors.
I had a bride last year who loves Tinkerbell. She always had on Tink earrings or jewellery. She didn't incorporate Tink in her wedding, so I surprised her by hiding a little Tinkerbell fairy in her floral cake topper and in a little lit jar on the head table.
She got married with her favourite fairy present! She was very pleased.
Following an enquiry, I arrange an initial consultation - this could be virtual or face to face as my clients are sometimes abroad.
I put an initial project brief together and send, once approved, terms are agreed, contracts are signed and we get started. There are regular meetings (virtual/face to face) and briefings. I engage with all Stakeholders (like parents) where relevant.
The D-Day arrives, the couple enjoy their Blé Moment - history is made!
It would be when a bride asked to include a horse and carriage only a few days before her wedding and specifically asked for the horses to have their hair braided with a bow at the end.
I anticipate and plan for any surprises with back up plans for back up plans. Staying on top on things, reassuring my clients and their family that the most important thing for the day is getting them married.
Also, making sure I have their "vice" in a little bottle handy!!
When my bride leaves my side and is walking down the aisle....
Then I breathe!
