Black Sheep Events

We used Black Sheep to set up our wedding at The Night Yard and I cant recommend them enough! Charlotte was an absolute pleasure to work with, no hassle and supported us every step of the way! Great company.

I found black sheep through Instagram and met Katie early on in the planning process. We knew that we didn't need a lot of help, bit did need support with the set up on the day. Katie was great, talking is through what they could do for us and we opted for their workmansheep package. From then on Katie and Charlotte were there to help with suggestions about styling and recommendations for suppliers, we did a site visit together and they made sure they understood exactly what we were envisaging for our big day. When the day came the styling honestly couldn't have been more perfect, it was everything we had imagined it to be. The whole venue was dressed beautifully and the ladies had clearly taken on board all the things we'd told them and done the best job. They then packed everything down for us so that the next morning we just had to drive away from the venue, which is so valuable!! If you're looking for a way to take the stress out of wedding planning, on whatever level, Black Sheep are the one for you. They wonderful women who are kind and supportive and will make your big day the best it could possibly be, we couldn't recommend them more!

The hardest thing about this review will be keeping it short. We cannot say enough about Charlotte and Katie. Their enthusiasm was there right from the start, from the very first meeting. They finished our thoughts and sentences and we had an immediate reassurance that we were in capable hands. We are very detailed orientated, we had done most of the planning ourselves before we brought Charlotte and Katie on board and that’s probably our biggest regret, not finding them sooner and bringing them on board earlier. Their experience, attention to detail and organisational skills were self-evident and they asked about details that no one else had thought of except us. Other than us (the bide and groom) they were the only people to have EVERY single detail of the big day (and remember them). We knew we could completely trust them to manage the set up and running of our special day. They understood our whole vision and the part that every supplier played in our day. We can honestly say that we had brilliant suppliers, but there were so many jobs that fell outside of the venue/ florist/ stylist etc that without Black Sheep, those jobs wouldn’t have got done and our day wouldn’t have been as special as it was. The day before the wedding, we realised that there were DIY jobs that we weren’t going to get done, so we asked the girls if they could do them and they agreed without hesitation. We felt guilty at the amount we asked them to do, but they really took it all in their stride, they were completely unfazed. No idea how they did it all in the time. They did not stop working from the day before our wedding, all the way through our wedding, right through to every bag, crate, box and fairly light being packed up. They even kept the staff at the venue on their toes, prompting them to clear plates. No job was ever too big or too small for Charlotte and Katie. They were always there when they were needed and they made it look effortless, but we know it absolutely wasn’t. The wedding industry can be greedy and grasping, but Katie and Charlotte give everything they’ve got and then a bit more. They were determined to make our day as stress free and perfect as possible for us. They went above and beyond what we expected, even our guests have commented on how much they did throughout the day. Katie & Charlotte won’t let you down, the relationship between them is special and they are a formidable team. Nothing we can say in any review will express our gratitude for all they did for us, we are so sad that we don’t get to do the wedding planning over again, except this time with Black Sheep involved from the beginning.

There are not enough positive and complimentary words in the world to sum up how amazing Katie and Charlotte were for our wedding day. From the moment we met with them they helped us bring to life our dream wedding. They were always on hand to answer any little question in the run up to the day and remind us and advise us of details that we hadn’t even thought of (like reminding us about a cake knife and the best place to have the top table). They helped us with the set up and take down of everything for the wedding and they were calm and efficient and super fun to have around. On the day of the wedding Katie was incredible and there is no way we could have had such an amazing day with out her. She saved the day on many occasions but in particular when I had a minor dress malfunction, she swooped in and fixed it without any stress at all. Our day was a rainy wedding day and I can honestly say that although in the build-up I was a little disappointed it was going to rain it didn’t make any difference at all and having them meet us on our arrival with a glass of Champagne and an Umbrella it was perfect. I know they were running around in the background getting wet and making everything happen and it is because of them everything ran smoothly. I don’t know how I can thank them enough but all I know is everybody organising a wedding should have them on board to help!

As a wedding videographer, Black Sheep are some of the best planners I've had the pleasure to work with. Indeed, they provide all suppliers with the support they need to perform their job. They truly a team to ensure couples have the best wedding experience. I hope to get the chance to work with them again.

These guys are amazingly professional and friendly and they go about their business with an air of complete confidence and consummate ease. I don't even know where to start with trying to say how amazing Charlotte and Katie are. They have been incredible throughout the whole planning process, supporting me, calming my anxieties, suggesting lots of different ideas and being genuinely interested and excited for our day. I honestly don't know what I would have done without them. We got married earlier this week and the day went perfectly, Charlotte and Katie were running around ensuring everything was perfect and going to plan, keeping suppliers in check 😉 And at the end of the night, they took down and packed up all our decorations ready for us to collect the following day so we didn't have to worry about a thing. They worked so hard to ensure our day was as magical as we wanted, and it was all that and more. There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for Black Sheep, amazing ladies who anyone planning a wedding or any other event could certainly benefit from. Charlotte was always on hand to answer questions and help build our run sheet for the day - especially as we got near to our Wedding Celebration event. What most impressed me though, was how hard she and her colleague worked on the day. She was so thorough and did not stop moving! Thank you for your exceptional service.

Katie and Charlotte, the ‘Black Sheep Girls’ - you two were utterly brilliant at coordinating the whole day (and helping us organise so much of it beforehand).
