David took the time to know us, understand the kind of people we are and type of ceremony we wanted. He was very careful to make any wording changes exact to our request and delivered the ceremony without fault. His style was warm and relaxed while still commanding the attention of the "room" which in our case was a field! We had comments from our guests that he was the best wedding celebrant they had seen and pitched our ceremony just right for us. Communications were straightforward and timely. We felt well supported all the way through. Would highly recommend David.

We chose David as our wedding celebrant because he took the time to explain what the options were and he took the time to listen to what we wanted and adapted the ceremony accordingly David's services helped to make our day more memorable and special. What meant the most to us was when our 9 year old niece was giving her speech, he took some time to help her organise her notes beforehand so she could deliver her speech to the best of her ability. From the moment we had our initial meeting with David we knew he was the right celebrant for us. He listened to our story of how we met to our journey as a couple and incorporated so many details to give us a wonderful and personalised wedding ceremony. David offers a variety of services to choose from to truly make your ceremony unique and special. We chose to do hand fasting and an exchange of flower garlands and David helped us decide by talking us through each step and even doing additional research for the garland exchange for my Tamil/Hindu background. We couldn’t have asked for a more attentive and kind celebrant for our wedding and would highly recommend Acorn 2 Oak Ceremonies for a wedding to remember for a lifetime!

We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant in David. Right from the start he was welcoming, helpful and easy to talk to. The collaboration between us and him on our vows and service prior to the wedding went very smoothly. He allowed us to have plenty of creative freedom with creating our love story, as well as allowing us the flexibility to update or tweak any elements of our story or vows when needed. He was very generous with his time on the big day, by turning up earlier than initially planned to put us at ease with our preparations, as well as being really friendly and approachable to our friends and family as they arrived. The ceremony itself couldn’t have gone better. David had lots of energy right from the outset and toed the line perfectly between fun and lighthearted as well as genuine sincerity where necessary. After the ceremony he didn’t rush off and stayed to mingle with the guests and have a celebratory drink with us before heading home. We had many guests coming up to us afterwards saying how much they enjoyed his ceremony and we couldn’t agree more with everything they said. We’re thrilled to have chosen David as our wedding celebrant and would absolutely recommend him to all our friends and family in the future. Thank you David!

We can’t thank David enough for the ceremony he provided for our special day. From the first message when we reached out David was very personable, made us feel comfortable and worked magic on getting us both to open up (we were both a bit scared!). The speech David prepared was perfect, not too serious but got across our love story in a lovely way. David also helped us with our personal vows and made sure we were on the same page. Following the ceremony our words were printed and presented in a lovely booklet which is a wonderful keepsake. We would recommend David to anyone who is looking for a bespoke, personable and warm ceremony. We couldn't have asked for any more.

We chose David for our wedding day as he offered a range of different options and came across as super kind and helpful. From the start David was able to cater to our needs as an interracial couple, and had plenty experience in his field such that any request from us was not new ground. David has a very relaxing and peaceful vibe but is also very structured which worked well throughout the process of writing vows and doing all the logistics. On the day itself, David was brilliant. I didn’t have to worry about the small details as he had it all covered. You can really trust David to deliver on his promises. The best aspect of David’s services was how he was able to really cater to our needs, revising the script even for the smallest details. I would wholeheartedly recommend David for any future couples, he really is excellent!

Where to begin! My wife and I decided after doing some research that we wanted to make our wedding ceremony personal and not go with the “typical script” of a registrar led ceremony. Upon deciding this, we researched celebrants local to us and David’s name popped up. We contacted David and set up a meeting at a local coffee shop. From the moment we met David, we could both tell he was the right fit for us! He was warm, open and caring whilst remaining professional and we could tell he really wanted to ensure he captured exactly what we wanted our service to be- and more! David listened to our story, asked us lots of questions and really took time to get to know us as a couple. David was more than happy to include personal touches like a Quaich (me being Scottish) and include our parents in readings. On the day, David ensured individually we were ready, prepared and happy and he always had a calm and warm presence about him which was very reassuring in the nervous build up! I would absolutely recommend anyone thinking of hiring a celebrant to help facilitate their day to not hesitate in contacting David. He really did make our service memorable and personal and we have had numerous compliments by guests on how refreshing it was.

I always thought that the ceremony was the boring part of a wedding, but not at ours! David made it so interesting and personal to us. We had a meeting with him far in advance and so he knew all about how we met, and incorporated it into a really unique ceremony. He mentioned all the important dates and people, and kept it funny and engaging without taking away from the importance and of the marriage. It was really important to us that the ceremony didn't put people to sleep but also didn't feel informal or silly, and David struck the ideal balance. It was definitely everyone's favourite part of the day, and all our guests mentioned how they loved it. If we could go back and redo our wedding we wouldn't change the ceremony one bit, it was perfect to the letter.

We cannot recommend David from Acorn 2 Oak any more highly. The process was an absolute joy from start to finish. He took the time to get to know us through multiple meetings, was incredibly flexible, helpful and kind at every stage of the process. He organised meetings that fit our busy schedules to get to know us better and to understand exactly what we wanted. He helped tremendously with helping us choose the readings, and with the whole process of writing the vows. Without his guidance, it would never have been as special or as magical as it was. Most importantly, on the day he delivered such an outstanding ceremony that truly made the day. I cannot thank him enough for his incredible work. I am eternally grateful to him!
