My services start from as little as £3 with planning templates all the way to the full works and so much more in between. I wanted to create a business that enabled everyone to have the support of a wedding planner with services broken down to be affordable so you can have the help that's right for you. You are more than capable of planning your own big day but sometimes it's easy to get stuck or have a challenge to overcome or just need a bit of guidance, so my services are aimed to help in those moments but also to allow you to relax and enjoy the day knowing that the running of it is in safe hands. And if you don't find a service that quite fits what you want...let me know and we'll make some that's right for you. I want to make the experience of planning your big day a fun and enjoyable one.

Amazing wedding coordinator!

Amy was wonderful on our wedding day and we are so glad we got her on board. From the moment we contacted her she was professional and helpful. She was totally across our plans on the day, made sure (within her powers!) we kept to time, and was generally a superstar. Calm within the storm!!!!

Quite literally in fact, as it teamed down with rain as our wedding began! But there was Amy, smile on her face and braving the elements to cover the venue! All in order to make our day the best we’d ever had. She is, quite simply, brilliant. Knowledgable, considerate, caring and friendly. You could do far worse than to put your wedding day in the hands of Amy - trust me, rain or shine; she’ll have it covered!

I would have been lost without her!

I honestly don't know where to start when it comes to just how helpful and amazing Amy was so I will start from the beginning. When I first decided I wanted a DIY wedding I thought it was the best idea ever – and although it turned out to be, it certainly wouldn’t have done without Amy helping with EVERYTHING! I had lots of ideas, a Pinterest Board and a budget but apart from that actually putting it all into a reality was so much more difficult then I imaged and the closer it got to the wedding the more logically thinking went out the window. Once I had realised I needed a day of coordinator I knew Amy would be perfect. She came round sat down with me and just listened to all the wedding gibberish that come out of mouth and actually understood what I meant instantly. Her experience in the wedding and event industry really meant she could visualise my ideas not only creatively but practically. We came up with shopping lists, visual guides (real life items and not just Pinterest hunting) which meant I had a clear plan of action in my head and Amy even made the perfect wedding signs for us! She knew exactly what I wanted and how to make it all happen most importantly. From then on every time I purchased something, found something I could ask her what she thought before I committed and of course she was always sourcing and making items along the way to help make my rustic woodland wedding (not the easiest) a reality. In addition to constantly being there to assist her spreadsheets meant that I could focus my brain and actually get somewhere with all the planning. On top of that we had regular meetings to go through all the new plans, changes and what was left to be done. Closer to the date Amy came to the venue with us and we walked through it all – I felt 1000% comfortable it would look how I had imagined and it really did and so much more. All her ideas and meticulous planning came to life and transformed the hall – and the best part I didn’t have to do a thing! Amy was there the day before and on the morning setting everything up and getting it all ready. It looked amazing! I can honestly say you don’t realise how much there is to do and having a coordinator like Amy just meant it all happened around me and I was free to sip prosecco and get ready for the big day. She was my wedding fairy godmother and I can’t recommend her enough to anyone. The day ran like a dream, everyone knew what they were doing and it was because Amy was there to make sure it all happened. Thank you so much for everything – Mr and Mrs Burn xx

A truly personal wedding

Amy organised my niece’s wedding. She made it so special by making it so personal to my niece and her fiancé. The manager of the Ritz was a guest and he commented on how Amy had personalised all aspects of the wedding. I would recommend Amy - she is a real star !

Couldn't have coped without the wedmin kit

I used the full set of spreadsheets from a little bit of wedmin and they were absolute lifesavers. The wedding was absolute perfection and it was smooth sailing all due to the planning. We were getting married abroad on a tiny island off the coast of Mexico, we had no wedding planner or coordinator so executing our wedding the ay we wanted was always going to be a challenge. But by having such coherent guidance from someone with so much experience really helped us come in UNDER budget and without a permanent headache!

"Amy really knows her stuff"

When I started planning my wedding I never thought I needed someone to help me. I thought I could do it all on my own….. ha-ha! The now me looks back at the old me and laughs. It was about a year before the wedding that started to think otherwise. Whilst I was happy to take on the planning and details, I realised that on my actual wedding day, I just wanted to be a Bride and not have to do anything except this! We chose a venue that was very DIY and didn’t come with an in-house coordinator, so there were a number of things that I had no idea who would be responsible for on the day and it started to bother me. It was at this point I started to research on the day wedding coordinators who help with all the finer details on the day and generally manage anything that is thrown at them (well this is certainly what Amy did and much more). I knew Amy as she had been involved in the planning, organising and coordination of my friend’s wedding a couple of years before, so I already knew what she was capable of. We had an initial chat where Amy gave me some excellent ideas and pointers to how she can help as well as solutions to ‘wedding logistics’ and timings that had been confusing me! I also purchased some of her amazing wedding planning templates including the budget planner, guest list planner and checklist which were an absolute godsend throughout the process. I would highly recommend purchasing these template from Amy as it was so well thought out. I left them open on my desktop most days so I could update them as I went along. About 6 months before the wedding I met Amy for a meeting over sushi and prosecco ( fab!) and she got me to talk though all the main details of the wedding day whilst she took copious notes. She listened to what my needs were and then made helpful suggestions as to how things could work as well as what her responsibilities were going to be on the day. It was quite a relief to brain dump all the information and work through how my plans and ideas will come to light. Some things that were worrying me were very small ( but still important ) and Amy took the responsibility off my hands. It was little things like – who will light the candles? who will turn the music on? Who will make sure our gifts are moved into a safe place? Who will look after cash to pay our suppliers etc ….. she took charge of all of this. She also suggested some very helpful hints and tips that I would never think to plan for, but were highly necessary. About a month before the wedding Amy joined us for a final venue walk through with our caterers and tech team at the venue. It was very helpful to have her present as she was able to make helpful suggestions of things she would take responsibility for as well as meeting the rest of the team and offer ideas for layout/ timings etc. From the information she had gathered throughout the process she then put together a fantastically detailed and coherent wedding day plan/ schedule which I shared with some key people in the wedding party. Every single detail had been planned to perfection and it became the running order for the day. Amy really knows her stuff when it comes to planning and running an event! On the wedding day, she was the first onsite at the venue to make final checks and ensure everything was open and ready for when the other suppliers arrived. She then came to my parents’ house where the bridal party were getting ready and got stuck in with small jobs that needed doing and then she took the men’s button holes to the pub and made sure they were on properly! When we arrived at the venue after the ceremony, she got us a glass of fizz. She made sure the MC knew when to call everyone for dinner, made sure everyone was sat for the speeches , cleared tables, tidied up, safeguarded the gifts, got people to sign the guestbook, paid the suppliers, single handedly rolled tables into storage (super human strength too!!), made sure the MC when to call everyone for the first dance/ cake cutting/ bouquet toss, provided support to my parents (my mum loved her) , lit candles, made sure the right playlists were playing at the right times and was generally a star. Calm, professional and not afraid to get her hands dirty. I would highly recommend Amy from A Little Bit of Wedmin.

"We cannot rave enough about Amy"

We cannot rave enough about Amy. She was absolutely brilliant and we are so grateful for how hard she worked to make our day perfect. We hired Amy at quite a late stage as we started to find the planning a little overwhelming. From the minute we met with her, we knew we were in safe hands. She is hugely experienced in events and weddings so preempted a lot of our questions and concerns. In the run up to our first meeting she had reserched the venue, which showed us that she was invested and organised. We really wanted there to be an attention to detail on the day (so silly things like always making sure music was playing during outside drinks, food, ceremony etc.) and she totally got this and made detailed notes to ensure all that stuff was sorted. On the day itself, she was amazing! A lot of our guests commented how lovely she was and went above and beyond to ensure everything went well. This including helping my mum to her seat as our outdoorsy style wedding didn’t agree with my mum’s heels! As we had a DIY wedding, we had a number of outside suppliers arriving throughout the day and Amy ensured that this all ran smoothly, which meant we didn’t need to worry about this at all. We had carefully planned timings for the day and Amy made sure these were followed, quietly prompting suppliers and ushers when needed. We honestly can’t thank Amy enough for what she did on our wedding day. We are so pleased we decided to have a wedding planner as it just alleviated all the stress on the day, but feel so lucky that we had Amy in particular as she did such a brilliant job and went above and beyond at every stage.” Here you can create the content that will be used within the module.

What is your most memorable wedding?

I honestly couldn't answer this because to me everyone wedding is memorable in it's own special way.

It makes me so happy knowing I've made a difference however small and that's what I strive for every day

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Make it personal! Every personal touch, everything that makes your guests say "oh that's so them" makes your wedding unique and makes it special!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

There are a few but one that stands out (and some people will think I'm crazy for saying this, but to me this was so special) I had a couple who met working for a retail company so each of their table names were named after the companies biggest store names. It was such a small detail but this was the company that brought them together and helped them fall in love and to me those details count for a lot

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

I don't know if I consider anything unusual when it comes to weddings, I'm open to new and different, it keeps me on my toes

I love everything about it!

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

The first dance! It's at that moment when all the stresses and nerves of the day have faded away and you get to share a moment between the happy couple that's full of love and happiness
