What is your most memorable wedding?
There have been countless fun, exciting and even exotic wedding that I have been a part of. However, one of the most deeply touching weddings was a couple who were getting married despite the bride losing a battle against cancer. The couple had been together for a long time and that wedding was a touching testimony of love, commitment and self-sacrifice. I still get teary thinking about it, absolutely beautiful!

What about your business are you most proud of?
The relationships that we have enjoyed over the years. My clients tend to be considerate, passionate and hopelessly in love. We are proud to have been a part of that narrative.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Meet as many of your 'possible' photographers in person, or at least over an online cup of coffee. You will be spending a considerable amount of time with your photo and video team around. Make sure you are comfortable with their presence.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Hand-made wooden hearts for the Christmas tree (or whatever you want to do with it) with each guest's name engraved on them. The father of the groom made them all by hand.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We love to get to know what you are looking for before the wedding. On the wedding day, we get to the venue early and look at weather forecasts, where the sun will be at what time and generally get to know how the light is playing with the venue. Then we spend time observing people, looking for hidden opportunities & moments and sometimes we engage in a little fun and light-hearted prompting on the day.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The one that personifies their love and excitement for each other on the day. For each couple, this looks different.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
White umbrellas and a double scoop of romantic laughter
