Well, they're all special in their own way, but one I shot in Iceland really stands out as being truly unique. The couple got married under a huge waterfall. It was absolutely stunning.
Natural, friendly, joyful, colourful, documentary
I'm most proud of the awesome feedback I get from the couples I work with. They seem to love what I do and it's a real pleasure making them happy.
Do whatever you want. It's your day. Be as traditional or untraditional as you like. Don't spend tons of money on stuff just because everyone else does. Be creative. Get friends and family involved in making things. And remember that only the photography will last forever. Everything is just from one (amazing) day.
We meet up on a Zoom call. It's really important to get to know your photographer a bit so that you can feel comfortable with them on your day and vice versa. I take careful note of their vision for their wedding and how I fit in with that. On the day I respect their need to enjoy their day without a camera in their face yet somehow magically get amazing shots of them enjoying every second and their guests enjoying the day too. The first thing I supply is a slideshow with nice music designed to make you cry (happy tears of course!). Then you receive a lovely looking memory stick with loads of amazing photos on in colour and black and white and a link to where they all are stored on an online gallery for sharing with your friends and family. Finally some couples ask me to make them an awesome looking album because photos always look better printed and displayed.
Umbrellas! They keep you dry and look awesome in photos!
I've always loved taking photographs. I used to shoot film as a kid of everything around me. Later on with a digital camera I started getting noticed for the shots I was taking of my friends performing at gigs. This led on to me shooting for a music magazine and festivals. It wasn't long before friends started asking me to shoot their wedding and it all grew from there!
