It’s hard to choose just one, but there was a wedding where the couple’s dog walked down the aisle. The we love the kind of day that feels real, a bit chaotic and totally full of heart.
Relaxed, honest, documentary, joyful, timeless
We’re most proud of the way couples tell us it felt like having a friend there. That we helped them feel relaxed, that we captured moments they didn’t even realise were happening, and that the photos bring it all back. We don’t take that lightly. Being trusted to document such a personal, emotional day is a big deal.
Don’t worry about doing things the “right” way. The best weddings are the ones that feel like you, not the ones that follow every tradition or trend. Pick the bits that matter, let go of the rest, and trust that the day will come together beautifully.
One couple handwrote letters to each of their guests, leaving them at their place settings. It was such a simple gesture but so full of love.
We like to keep things simple and stress-free. Once you get in touch, we’ll have a chat to hear all about your plans and see if we’re a good fit. If you decide to book, we’re here for whatever you need; supplier recommendations, timeline tips, or just someone to talk things through with.
Closer to the day, we’ll set up a quick call or coffee so we know what matters most to you, and we’ll check in to go over the final timings. On the day itself, we’ll blend in, capture the magic as it happens, and help things run smoothly if needed.
After the wedding, you’ll get a preview gallery within a few days, and your full set of images around 4–6 weeks later.
One with just the two of you, somewhere quiet. No posing, no guests watching, just a moment to breathe and take it all in together. Those photos always end up meaning the most.
One couple asked us to recreate the moment they met; in fancy dress, in a pub garden, with a pint in hand and a very questionable wig. It was totally chaotic and completely them.
Some of our favourite photos have been taken in the rain. Bring a couple of clear umbrellas, choose a cosy indoor space for group shots just in case, and embrace it.
We started out second shooting weddings while working full-time in our day jobs. It was meant to be a bit of weekend fun, but we quickly realised how much we loved it. Being part of such an emotional, joyful day and capturing all those little unscripted moments just clicked for us. Over time, the photography grew, and the day jobs didn’t feel quite the same. So we took the leap, and we haven’t looked back.
