White Thistle Wedding Photography Full Description
Coming from a creative background of film and photography, I am able to bring a passion and talent for capturing beautiful imagery and chronicling your important day in a way that is cinematic. There's a reason you want a professional taking the photos, and not just anyone with a camera. Want an epic engagement or wedding shoot that will make everyone look at in awe? I know the best locations for that. Want a fun shoot to show off your quirky and geeky side? You're talking to the ultimate geek here. My service is not just professional, it's fun and its designed to help you. As you can see from my pictures we will provide photographic memoirs that are every bit as important to you as they are to me. Weddings can be stressful, there's so much to organise and run for just one day, that's why I will do everything I can to help your day go smoothly and most importantly, enjoyably! In addition to excellent photography, I have packages to suit all, which can include a beautiful wedding album book for either yourself or to gift to a family member and a stylish USB key which not only contains the digital images of your wedding but also is a cute addition to your collection of keepsakes and presents to display. I am delighted to work alongside Gavin Hugh of White Rose of Scotland Wedding Films so that we are able to offer additional videography packages at discounted rates. To find out more, feel free to drop me a message or take a look at my website for more!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

I'd have to say my own, I mean I think I have to say that! But having gone through it myself, I know exactly how it feels and so that makes it easier for me to understand your thoughts, feelings and needs.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Epic, beautiful, stunning, fun, cinematic

What about your business are you most proud of?

The images themselves, you have to love your work after all!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

This is your day, so do it how you want to, not how others want you to.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I saw a cupcake wedding cake once, that was very different and made for a much easier time of everyone getting a piece!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We'll sit down, have a good chat and get to know each other, find out exactly what it is you're looking for and guide you through the whole process. I'll keep in touch on the lead up to the day, and ensure that you have a lot less to worry about.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Just the two of you, relaxed, happy and enjoying the day.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Later in the night, while the couple were slightly more relaxed through copious amounts of alcohol, we were on a large ship which had a giant unicorn statue. And so the couple wanted an extremely serious photo alongside this very ostentatious statue. They now have that one framed in their home.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Colourful umbrellas! Make the most of the weather, we live in the UK after all! But that doesn't mean we can't still have fun with it.

Describe how you got into photography.

It started as a hobby, I liked to take pictures of the places I went to, and as I progressed I realised that I had an eye for it, and started to grow. Before long I was being approached with offers of payment for my photos or to take them!
