Whisper Photography Full Description
I am a Glossop based photographer and consider myself lucky to shoot special days in some of the most stunning locations. I am inspired by the people that I meet and amazing venues that I shoot. I love to create images that reflect the environment, capturing the essence of place, people, love, joy and energy. Your wedding day is special and as such deserves more than having a friend or relative snap away with a nice digital camera. Good wedding photography takes skill, dedication and creativity alongside good management skills and an equally good sense of humour! As an experienced wedding photographer, I use only professional grade cameras and lenses. I keep my skills fresh and up-to-date by regularly attending training courses run by the best in the business such as Simon Watkinson, Neil Redfern and Steven Rooney. I would love to hear about your special day and chat about how I can record all your special moments.

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Louise
Congratulations! You will, by now, be in the throes of organising your wedding. There are so many different providers out there and it's sometimes difficult to know who to choose. Do your homework, meet your providers, go with your gut instinct and you won't be far wrong. Taking your time to choose the right providers will save you time, money and stress in the long run. Having chosen wisely, you can start to enjoy your preparations and have fun!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

There are many, but a beach wedding in Brisbane, Australia was possibly the hottest!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Stylish, Creative, Fun, Approachable, Classy

What about your business are you most proud of?

Being able to use my skills to contribute to charities such as: Pink Ladies Calendar (Breakthrough Breast Cancer); UHSM ECMO Charity Ball; New Start Charity.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Choose your providers carefully, keep them informed and trust them to work well for you, giving you more time to spend with each other.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love to see all the hand-made details, but I was particularly impressed by the wedding cake made by the groom.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Our journey usually begins with me finding out all about your plans for your special day. From these details, I make a plan of my own. Nearer the time, we meet at your venue(s) and exchange ideas. I encourage you to keep me up-to-date with arrangements. On the special day, I arrive early to capture those getting ready photos and I document your day according to our plans. I usually finish after I have captured some of the evening party.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

This is a difficult question. Each wedding is unique and therefore the number 1 photo would be different for each couple.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A groom wearing a kilt, flashing to his bride!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Above all, embrace the weather! A good photographer can produce some stunning shots in the rain. Many romantic films have ended with the lovers kissing in the rain!

Describe how you got into photography.

I first got into photography in my early teens and I have never been without a camera since! I think it is important to understand the science behind photography and have kept up-to-date with courses, but alongside the academic side, good wedding photography requires a certain flair - and you can't buy a course that will give you that! My passion and flair for wedding photography is clear to see in my work.
