My most memorable wedding was actually only three hours long - bespoke coverage. It was held at Leek Registry Office, in Staffordshire. I ended up winning two global awards from this wedding.
Relaxed, Documentary, Natural, Creative, Honest
Recognised as being very good at what I do :)
Book early, go with your heart not sales patter, try and meet face-face or at least a video call. Work with your suppliers to make your wedding day just as you want it :) We're a friendly, helpful bunch!
There are too many to list, umm I suppose my favourite is when a couple's son helped place the rings on their fingers.
I like to meet all my couples in person or via a video call. To hear all about your wedding, how you met and for you to ask me all the questions you may have. Basically, to make sure we're a good fit. From there if I'm booked it's arranging any pre-wedding shoots, contracts and then relaxing on your wedding day whilst I capture everything without you knowing.
No one photo is more important than another in my book. Just be yourselves and I'll capture that No.1 photo.
Again I take natural documentary pictures, most of the original ones requested I suppose are involving the couples' pets or daft pics.
Go with it! Rain can actually make for some really stunning pics. You're not going to let the weather ruin your wedding, are you?
I actually got into photography when completing my BTEC in Graphic Design. I took photography as an option and was consumed. I loved the darkroom and the processing of images was magical. An HND in Photography later and several years under my belt and I love my job even more.
