Martin captured our wedding in August 2025. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Martin as our wedding photographer. From the very first meeting, he was professional, and genuinely excited about capturing our day – and it truly showed in his work. He made us feel so relaxed and at ease with his calming presence and professionalism. friends and family complimented how nice and friendly he was. We’re so grateful to Martin for giving us such timeless memories. We met Martin and Elaine at Glenbervie Wedding Fayre (our wedding venue). We liked them both instantly and felt comfortable from the start. They kept us right on timelines and communication beforehand was excellent. On our wedding day, they kept us calm. We don’t like getting our photos taken and yet felt comfortable. I don’t know how they managed it but there were lots of photos of my mum as she avoids family photos normally. It has been lovely to receive so many compliments about our photos, we couldn’t be happier with them. Thank you Martin and Elaine

I don’t even know where to begin! Wedding planning can be extremely stressful, but when dealing with vendors like Weir Photography, it felt like an absolute breeze for us. From the very first call with Martin, we knew we were in safe hands choosing Martin and Elaine to capture our special day. I was nervous about the photo part of the day as my husband and I have never had a professional photo shoot and he can be a little on the awkward side, but I knew I wanted photos that I could cherish forever that we could re-live our day through, and upon getting the photos back, we got exactly that. Martin and Elaine somehow managed to direct the day and get the perfect shots whilst seamlessly blending into the background, to the point that we almost forgot they were there! So many of our guests have also mentioned how brilliant they were and how comfortable they made the day for all. We chose to have 2 photographers so we could have the ‘picture perfect’ shots, and the candid behind the scene shots and I’m so glad we did. Elaine almost felt like an extra bridesmaid making sure everything looked perfect and I’m so grateful for everything she did for me on the day! We also chose to do our photo guestbook with Martin and Elaine with their photos & prints package, where they captured gorgeous photos of our friends and family for them to stick into our guestbook along with their well wishes, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed! I can’t explain how happy I am to have come across their profile on Bridebook, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer for their special events. We’re obsessed with our photos and will be forever grateful for the memories we now get to keep and look back on with pure joy. Thank you again, Martin & Elaine!

If you’re looking for amazing photographers, Martin and Elaine are amazing. Elaine takes more candid shots whilst Martin did the formal ones and they work together seamlessly. They captured the groom arriving, came to see me getting ready and gently guided me how to be in front of the camera. They responded to additional requests with ease and had such an eye for detail. It blows us away. In the lead up, they meet online to start the process, follow up exactly when they said they would, provided a clear contract and great pricing, so it’s 2 people you can entirely trust. They works brilliantly with other suppliers and nothing was too much trouble . They helped so much on the day. Brilliant with the little ones at 3-4 years and my mum who is 95. We are so lucky to have been recommended Weir photography and I recommend them myself without question

We had our day with Martin and Elaine as our photographers. They were both great and quick to get photos back. Very responsive and communication was very good. Nothing was a hassle. We had the good old Scottish weather but Elaine and Martin were prepared for it all, we forgot about the rain as Martin and Elaine are so experienced and our photos turned out great even if it was raining, it didn't ruin anything of our day.

Martin was our photographer on our special day at Cromlix and he managed to make an already amazing day even more perfect. Ours was a wedding for two and Martin was a true professional, putting us both at ease which has resulted in photographs from the day we will treasure always. Thanks also must go to Elaine, who very patiently answered all our queries about the photographs, usb said and resulting album. No question ever went unanswered and the reply was always speedy in its response. Thank you Martin and Elaine for adding to an already perfect experience.

Martin and Elaine were easy to deal with and Martin was great with us and our families on the day. We felt well looked after and got some beautiful photos of our day.

Martin and Elaine have been spectacular from start to finish. They responded quickly to our enquiry and had an initial call to discuss what we were looking for. My husband and I are not great and being photographed so we wanted relaxed and fun photographs. This is exactly what we got. They gave easy instructions for us to be able to have incredible pictures. We’ve had our sneak peak photos and can’t wait to see the rest of them!
