John and Katie were recommended to us by a friend and from the outset they were extremely supportive and accommodating. Prior to contacting John, other photographers made us feel that our wedding was too small and not worth their time but John and Katie were the total opposite. We were welcomed into John and Katie’s home to discuss the needs for our wedding and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We were welcomed into John and Katie’s home to discuss the needs for our wedding and nothing was too much trouble for them. The fact that our wedding was a small family affair was not a problem and he was happy to come back to the Groom’s parents’ house where we were having our Reception. John was extremely patient and dedicated to getting the right shot and Katie was fantastic! She always made sure that I was looking my best throughout the day as well as assisting John with the photography. We were totally clueless about the types of shots we should have or of any picturesque areas to use, around the wedding venue, as our backdrop. Thankfully John was happy to do this and he captured the day beautifully. Having been quite daunted by the thought of the couple shots, he made us feel totally at ease and he consistently made sure that we were comfortable with what we were doing. The experience is something we will never forget. Our family and friends were very complimentary about how friendly both John and Katie were and everyone was thrilled with the gorgeous moments he captured throughout the day. After having just looked through our albums which I must say were beautifully wrapped and presented, we can honestly say that we were so unbelievably thrilled with them and think that they are perfect! Both John and Katie were the perfect photographers for our wedding day, nothing was ever too much trouble, we were never rushed, they were incredibly organised getting everyone together for the group photos (which can always be challenging!) but most of all they were both just so lovely with us on the day making us feel so at ease from the get go, never forcing us into awkward poses. They let us be us and captured some truly breath-taking photos. I cannot wait to show off our wedding pictures to all our family and friends now! I highly recommend you book them as they really are an asset to any wedding day and you will not regret it

We were lucky enough to have John and Katie to take our Wedding photos at Beamish Hall on August 5th 2017. They are a lovely couple who put us totally at ease and John has produced the most beautiful wedding album for us that we have ever seen. Our family and friends have been so impressed.
