Planning your wedding in Shropshire or nearby? Joe Bickerton brings 14 years of experience capturing weddings across Shropshire, Cheshire, Merseyside, and North Wales. Known for his calm, unobtrusive style, Joe focuses on the genuine emotions and beautiful details that make your day truly special.
Joe’s photography style is documentary or reportage, meaning he captures natural moments as they happen. This approach lets you relax and enjoy your wedding day, knowing that every laugh, tear, and romantic glance is being preserved in sharp, vibrant images. His goal is to tell your unique story through photos that feel real and full of emotion.
Joe understands that your wedding photography experience matters just as much as the photos themselves. From your first booking conversation to the delivery of your final images, he offers clear communication and professional support. To give each couple the attention and creativity they deserve, Joe limits his bookings to just 40 weddings per year, ensuring a personalized and stress-free experience.
Reportage, relaxed, unobtrusive, happy, stylish!
The quality of the final images - but also the swift communication.
Ensure that you don't make your day too regimented - and get chance to see each other at various points!!
My typical process would be to ensure that a couple felt reassured throughout the whole process from booking to the delivery of the final album. Ahead of booking, I always try and chat with the couple either online or over a coffee. Then, a month before the wedding, we'd meet up to talk through the timings for the day and to re-establish our relationship. Then on the day, I'm there to capture moments without stopping things to pose you, and I'm always there for reassurance and to guide you through the day too in a friendly and confident manner. After the wedding day, I always aim to send you some preview shots a day or two later - and then have your final gallery ready within 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year.
