What is your most memorable wedding?
I believe that successful wedding photography involves not simply portraying the main events of the day but capturing the mood and spirit of the occasion.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
My style is relaxed and contemporary with a documentary like approach. I can photograph your big day “from the inside”, always staying close to the action which gives a more intimate record of your wedding.
Of course I will also cover the 'traditional' style. These could include static groups as we still find many couples will want various groups to record who was there.
The mixture of styles will give a complete coverage of your special day that leads towards making a truly stunning wedding album.
What about your business are you most proud of?
When it comes to the most respected wedding photographers in London, Danny is certainly at the top of the heap. He is recognised for his unique style and has shot numerous wedding magazine editorials for high-profile glossies like “Wedding” Magazine“ , "Asiana Wedding” Magazine and many more.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
What kind of wedding do you want?
What's important to you?
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
On Your Big Day:
Coverage begins with the Bride’s final preparations approximately 90 minutes before the ceremony. I will then move on to the venue to capture the boys and your guests arriving prior to the arrival of the Bride. It is possible to book a second photographer if you would like both the Bride and Groom preparations photographed.
The ceremony will be discreetly photographed to capture the emotions and important moments of the church or civil ceremony. Coverage of the ceremony is at the discretion of the minister or registrar and it is important that you discuss what they will allow at your pre-wedding meeting with them.
After the ceremony I will capture some photographs of you both as a newly married couple before moving on to the reception venue for a well earned glass of champagne! We are not traditional ‘line up and shoot’ photographers but understand there will always be some group shots required and we make these fun and enjoyable for everyone.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Obviously your wedding is individual and I am very happy to be as flexible as you need me to be to ensure that you are happy with the photographs you receive.
My work also reflects the cultural diversity and multi-ethnicity of the society we live in today.
We are always available to photograph all denomination of weddings particularly Christian, Civil, Jewish, Sikh and Hindu functions. I understand that a wedding can be a family affair and we will happily work under your or your parent’s guidance, to ensure that the best results are achieved.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I work by storyboard created individually for each personality.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Blan "B" :-) Pay special attention to the existing decor inside the venue. What style is the architecture and what does the building’s interior convey? For an event with attendees within a limited geographic range, a venue within a reasonable distance from most attendees’ homes or places of work may make sense.
