What is your most memorable wedding?
The most memorable wedding is YOURS! ;)
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Fun, honest, flexible, passionate and all about YOU!
What about your business are you most proud of?
The unconvencional aproach to photography which is literally my way of life and not just a job. I live through your wedding with you and want it to be absolutely perfect just as much as you do!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book me first, while I am still available ;) Siriously though, Have fun with the process and don't let it stress you out too much, make sure it is always a pleasure and not a duty!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my favorites was a couple who incorporated their love of travel into their wedding. They had a "passport stamp" station where guests could get their own passport stamped with the wedding date and location. It was such a fun and interactive way for guests to remember the special day, and it made for some great photo opportunities.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Wedding photography prep process is like herding cats, but with more hairspray and less meowing. One minute the bride is in her robe, sipping champagne, and the next she's in her dress, running around like a headless chicken. Meanwhile, the groom is somewhere getting a beer and trying to avoid any responsibilities. But with a little patience and a lot of caffeine, we wrangle them both into place, snap some amazing shots and make sure they'll remember their big day forever.
On a sirious note, I meet the couple to talk about everything while sipping coffee, then we go see the church and the venue together and come up with a plan together. I send my checklist form over as well as the contract and we go from there :)
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
With me in full party mode! :)
I believe that every couple should have a photo of just the two of them alone together, away from the hustle and bustle of the reception or ceremony. This photo captures the intimate and emotional moments of the couple, and it's a great way for them to remember the special bond that they share. The sudden piece and quiet just after the noise of the celebrations, will bring completly different emotions to your faces and allows for absolutely unique and intimate photograps.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
There were many, more than I can count but my favourite are: involving animals like a massive awl forced perspective, wedding while performing extreme sports and in a treehouse.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
To embrase it and have fun in the rain! Trust me, the photos are AMAZING!
Describe how you got into photography.
It's a long story which is fully explained in the documentary about me funded by the Wealden County Council: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3O7IIlBwrm0
In Short, I used to work in IT but had to stop for health reasons, I started filmmaking and photography because my wife needed a photographer for her final fashion show in London at univercity which developped into full time teaching photography and wedding photography.
