I was booked to do an amazing Alice in Wonderland/Steampunk themed Wedding on Easter Sunday at Hirst Priory. Not only is it one of my favourite venues to work at but we were having a heatwave and my couple had done the most incredible job of decorating every part of their venue from the building to the Woodlands where they had their ceremony. You can view it here on my blog: http://bit.ly/SteampunkAlice

That I get to do something I love everyday and no day is ever the same. I can't even count how many new friendships I've made or stunning places I have visited thanks to being a professional photographer. I wouldn't change it for the world!
It's YOUR day, do what is important for you. Your Wedding is to celebrate your everlasting love and bond with each other, whether that means a huge party for all family and friends or a small intimate service to share together.
Oh there's so many to choose from! I love DIY weddings, my favourites have always been when the decor you've chosen has a very personal meaning for you both. This may be represented in trinkets attached to your flowers, the decorations on the cake or the table set ups at your Wedding breakfast.
I always encourage us to have a meeting before booking to get to know each other and I love to hear about your Wedding plans. We then begin planning your pre wedding photoshoot after we've signed the contracts, choosing somewhere personal to you both. No matter how long it is until your Wedding day, I keep in touch with all my couples throughout the process, helping, reassuring or just having a catch up on how your Wedding plans are going. After your big day I aim to have your photos ready to be delivered on your USB within 8 weeks.
A natural shot of you together enjoying each others company, not noticing the world around you but just so involved with each other where nothing else matters.
I wasn't asked to take it, but the moment happened and it's one of my all time favourite photos from years ago of a little girl watching her mum put on her Wedding dress. The moment is just beautiful!
To be flexible, sometimes we may need to get creative if we can't get outside. I'm always prepared for rain as we all know what the British weather can be like!
My parents were Wedding photographers and I started by assisting at their Weddings. I learnt all the basics from them that I've now grown into my own business.
