What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Allow enough time in your day for your couple portraits and group shots. A minimum of 45 mins is always advisable.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Couples have got so much to organise, so I like to keep the booking process simple and worry-free. Let’s break it down. Step 1 - Clients reach out with their preferred wedding/civil partnership details to see if I’m available for that date. I will always respond in 48 hours. Step 2 - The coffees are on me. I will hold the date for while we get to know each other a little better with a chat. This can be in-person if couples live nearby or an online call where we can discuss your story, your day, and your plans. If we’re both happy to move forward it’s time for me to get to work… Step 3 - At this stage, I will draw up an agreement and a booking form so that clients know exactly how I will look after them on their day and beyond. Once read through, signed, and a 25% deposit is paid, we’re good to go! Now it’s time to relax. I’ve got this. Step 4 - Two to three weeks before the special day we will meet to go over every detail to ensure all angles are covered.
