What is your most memorable wedding?
The very first wedding I did in March 2014 at Harewood House in West Yorkshire. I had the pleasure of photographing the loveliest couple in the most beautiful setting, and I was hooked immediately!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed, informal, fun, traditional and artistic
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
I'm a true believer in providing the best possible service at fair and reasonable prices. Customer satisfaction is key and I won't finish a job until I'm happy with what I've achieved
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The bride also having a first dance with her father. There's nothing more lovely than seeing the look of love and pride on a father's face as he dances with his daughter on her wedding day
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The first kiss as man and wife at the alter. That's a moment that couples will treasure.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I was asked to take a photo of a bride and her bridesmaids in the style of the image on the ad for the film bridesmaids. That was lots of fun and the result was fab!
Describe how you got into photography.
I had a passion for photography in general for many years, always taking beautiful, artistic photos of my children. Then it was put to me by a professional photographer that I had a talent and could take it more seriously. He duly trained me for a year in wedding photography, I then took a photography diploma course passing with a distinction and the rest is history!
