I think my most memorable wedding was one that actually involved capturing the bride and grooms baby! The baby was playing with their toys on the ground with the bride, it made for a cute photo as it was! However what happened next was the highlight for us all. Babies first steps!! They stood up and took their first steps towards the bride and I managed to get every step they took!
Candid, natural, relaxed, feel good, warm
Developing of cultural understandings and traditions across all weddings.
Have an itinerary, but be flexible with the timings!
Your ceremony is the only part of the day that will be perfectly timed, the rest of the day may not run exactly to the minute. Instead, have an order of how you'd like the day to flow with loose timings. It makes the day a lot more relaxed and you can enjoy each moment in its own right!
A couple used the brides, grandfathers military sword to the cut their wedding cake! The brides grandfather used the exact same sword to cut his own cake at his marriage, so it made for a great surprise reveal to the guests!
I usually respond within 24hrs to let you know if I am free on your date and my packages I offer!
Following on, if you're happy with a package and wish to book, I'll schedule a call/meet to discuss your plans and day. I want to get a sense of what you're like as a couple to try and tell your story on your wedding day.
Once we've had a chat, I'll send over a digital agreement with your details and chosen package, combined with a £200 retainer fee. Once that is all signed, sealed and delivered. Your date is officially reserved!!
I'll then usually reach out to you around a month before to discuss final plans and see if you have any special requests. All being well, I request final payment 30 days before the wedding day.
I come to your wedding, and I capture your love story.
1-7 days later I'll send you some sneak peeks in an online gallery. Highlights of your day if you will!
2-4 weeks later, you'll have your complete online gallery!
Whilst there are many timeless moments at a wedding, the first kiss during the ceremony is an important one for me. It signifies the couples union and coming together, it's the moment when all the guests are in the same place at the same time, all enjoying the moment!
I always suggest, make the first kiss last at least 3 seconds!
Underneath a set of rugby posts on the touch line.
Enjoy the day like you would any other! You're surrounded by friends and family, the rain is part of your day too and adds to the story.
I started photography as a teen, as most teens do, I loved taking photos of anything and everything on my dads camera. As I grew older, so did the thrill for taking photos. I was gifted my first ever DSLR before going off to uni and merged my passions for photography, cars and music! I spent my time at gigs snapping bands and car shows, I even attended football matches of close friends, attempting to get the perfect slide tackle or header at every game! Which ultimately lead me to being the local football clubs photographer for matches.
