Unscripted Photography

Capturing {the beauty of} the BigDay. After all the fuss is over, there will be only two things left from your wedding: memories and photographs. It is the job of the photographer, your storyteller, to ensure your images keep these memories alive. And I love my job! I want to capture true emotion. The details. The connections. The little things that you probably won’t notice as you get swept along in the whirlwind that is your wedding day. I believe that when I cover your BigDay, I am your storyteller. So I ideally, I would love to be there for the beginning, middle and end. I will spend pretty much all day with you (normally 10 hours), following the events from getting ready to the evening celebrations, resulting in an organic, natural record of your day. Almost 100% of my photography will be Unscripted - completely documentary. However, I appreciate that couple portraits are especially important, so, if you wish, we will take time out during your day to create some beautiful, relaxed and fun lifestyle shots. Alternative Videos: In all honesty, they’re a bit of fun. I LOVE making them. I simply try to create unique videos for my couples that evoke the feeling and atmosphere of the day. I’m not a videographer. I do not intentionally record audio, although sometimes I may include a snippet. I will always prioritse photography over video. So, as there is only me (no tripods, no second shooters), I will always capture the milestone moments as photography first, video second. So walking down the aisle, first kiss, confetti will be photographed, not filmed - unless you ask me specifically.
