What is your most memorable wedding?
I mean, our own wedding was definitely up there, but in terms of weddings we've photographed Hannah's most memorable one was where the dog was a best man - tux and all. Joe's most memorable wedding was a small village wedding where the whole community used their skills to decorate the village hall with homemade decs and it looked amazing!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Real, unobtrusive, raw, relaxed, romantic
What about your business are you most proud of?
Our connection. We are truly in-sync, which means we capture every part of your wedding day without stepping on anyone's toes!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try not to stress (we know it's hard, we've been there) - you are the only people who will know if something is not quite right on your wedding day. Your guests won't know any different and as far as they're concerned, your day is perfect.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We recently photographed a wedding where the groom's family were unfortunately unable to attend, so in order for them to still be a part of the big day the favours were little jars of honey from the family's business.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From booking through to your big day, we are here for YOU. Typically you will enquire with us and if you'd like to go ahead with the booking, we ask for a 20% deposit to secure your date. We then offer unlimited pre-wedding consultations should you wish and will send over a questionnaire to make sure we know every little detail about your day. On your wedding day, we will be with you every step of the way - we can hold bags, drinks, help your guests - we are more than just photographers.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The big group photo - you can never have too many pictures with your friends and family and what better way to remember your big day with a photo of all of your guests celebrating with you together.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The best man portraits when the best man was a dog. That little terrier in a tuxedo was everything.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
It's apparently good luck if it rains on your wedding day - I mean, it rained on ours and it certainly didn't dampen the mood (just the ground outside). If you want to embrace the rain, then we are more than happy to and will be armed with some umbrellas for you, but equally your day will be amazing even if you can't make it outside!
Describe how you got into photography.
Hannah actually photographed bands for a number of years. She's traveled all over the UK working with a number of music artists and shooting at some of the biggest arenas. Joe got into photography when we started dating Hannah. He focused more on landscapes and people.
