What is your most memorable wedding?
It was a wedding in Ireland on the Guinness Lake. I loved it, it was an intimate elopement with gorgeous views.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, relaxed, bright, funny and airy.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud that I can serve people with the happiest memories of their lives.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do your research and see what you like and how much it costs. Prioritise what's important to you and spend budget according to your priorities.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
As a personal touch I admire wedding vows.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Normally the day begins at the getting ready of the bride. Then we work our way through the ceremony, bride and groom photos, family photos, bridal party photos. Then, before the speeches/dinner I take candid shots of guests, followed by the speeches and the first dance.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
At least one picture where the couple is looking at the camera. But also a family photo.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Most of my work is relaxed and natural. Jumping over the broom was one of the most unexpected and unusual photo.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Bring umbrellas - white preferably. But also try and find a venue that has a porch or a greenhouse. But most of all, if it rains on the day, photos will be a lot more spontaneous, working around rain breaks
Describe how you got into photography.
I changed my college choice last minute. Then I dropped out from Communication Studies (which would have let me specialise in photography in the end), moved countries, found a job as a photographer and that's how it all began :)
