Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Tracy
Hi Lovely to meet you - all be it electronically! My photography style is relaxed and tailored to you both - so as much or as little interaction as you would like. I want to make sure you are both happy and relaxed and then I can get the best possible images of you. I am particularly good at using natural light and finding the best possible angles. Please do check out my work here and on my website and FB. Lots of examples and reviews from clients. I look forward to speaking to you soon!

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Too many of them to choose! I have covered 100+ over the years and each are special in their own way.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, Happy, relaxed, sensitive, loving

What about your business are you most proud of?

My reputation and the fact that lots of my clients are long term and I get to see them over the years as their lives change and to capture those changes for them.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Choose professionals who you get on well with for your big day - you are with them a lot of the time and the good ones know what they are doing and will make your day extra special - whatever happens! Experience helps a alot coping with the unexpected.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Ooh lots - so hard to choose - maybe personalised heart favours/place settings with names and something special about the person - I even got one!!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Initial meet, lots of chats via email etc, tips over the pre time, pre shoot, viewing of those images and more chats, Pre meet nearer the big day - can be at venue, regardless I always try to do a pre big day venue visit. In contact day before, the big day!! then a sneak peek and a viewing a couple of weeks after. Then its choices for album design and any frames etc till we have the finished product and me showing it to them!

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

A beautiful classic Bride and Groom couple shot that will stand the test of time (and then some fun and different ones!)

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A staged scene where the Bride and Groom and the Bridal party are all draped over the bar pretending to be the worse for wear with a smiling bridge drinking! It was a lot of fun and a great talking point as they were a big group of friends and siblings.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Me getting wet to get the shots and not my couple! my big white umbrella and then making the best possible use of any window and other natural light before we then do some flash work if necessary. I always have a back up plan for rainy days and normally its not heavy rain all day so we re arrange the shoot schedule and make the best of it.

Describe how you got into photography.

Having our eldest son 20 years ago reminded me how much I loved it - a three year evening course at night school round our son and a full time job and then I got started shooting images for us and family and friends and it grew from there! A big career was no longer so full filling when I had our third child so I left and changed my then part time photography business to full time around the children in 2011. I love it very much so am lucky to be able to do this as a job.
