Tony Hall Wedding Photographer

We made a very good choice in choosing Tony as our wedding photographer (we were married in September 2017). Tony is a genuinely nice guy, who is very friendly, laid back and polite. Starting at our engagement photo session, he made us feel relaxed and took some great photos, with which he did some further impressive post-image processing on, to bring out the sky, the green surroundings, and us as a couple. We love those photos and have them in our living room. At our wedding, he did a similarly impressive job, and was very prompt at sending us the finished collection on a special USB stick. We appreciated your hard work, thanks so much Tony.

My husband and i threw a 1950s wedding full of colour, fun and vibrancy. We didn’t want matching suits and bridesmaids dresses, we just wanted everybody to feel comfortable but in a vintage style. We wanted a photographer who would capture this style and laid back feel and Tony was perfect. He was open to capturing all kinds of shots which we requested and kept everything natural rather than very formal and typical of some wedding shots. Nothing was too much trouble for Tony and he put us and all our guests at ease. Tony captured the day perfectly and we are thrilled at the results. Tony was the best wedding photographer I could have wished for. He totally put up with the Bridezilla in me, but at every meeting suggested great ideas which instilled confidence in me about what we would get for the final album. I was adamant that I didn’t want pictures of lines of guests, instead hoping for creativity to shine through in every shot. That’s exactly what I got and more! Tony was the photographer at our wedding in the Buxton Dome. He was absolutely fantastic and we got such great memories of our wedding day. He had a good balance of doing what we wanted and providing suggestions (which were great ideas). The pre photo shoot that we had with Tony also meant that we had the opportunity to get to know each other and get used to being photographed. We would highly recommend hiring Tony.

The pre-wedding / engagement shoot that Tony offers is so helpful to make even the most camera-shy person feel confident. He really listens to what your brief is and suggests some really creative and unique ideas that match your style and feel for the day. http://weareweddingphotographers.co.uk/ Unlike a lot of photographers, Tony works with an assistant which was absolutely brilliant for the wedding day itself as it meant we got the same shot but from different vantage points and allowed us to have formal photos taken with Tony and the assistant to simultaneously capture informal shots of the guests. With regards to the wedding album we could not have been happier. Tony clearly has a natural talent, not just behind the camera, but with editing images to compile the most beautiful, bespoke album that my wife and I are so proud to show off to friends and family. We could not reccomend Tony enough as he really went above and beyond what we were ever expecting. Now we just need to see if he will do a newborn baby shoot for us!!

Tony photographed our wedding in September 2015 at The Whitworth Centre in Darley Dale, both himself and his team were fantastic, really put us at ease as we are both quite camera shy, nothing we asked was too much trouble, the pictures were incredible and we absolutely adore our wedding album, thank you so much.
