Will I have to pose for a lot of awkward photos?
Not at all! My whole philosophy is "anti-posing." I capture the day as it happens — the laughter, the tears, and the natural moments between you and your guests. For couple portraits, I'll give you simple, gentle guidance so you look your best, but I will never force you into stiff, awkward shapes. You can just be yourselves.
Do you still do the traditional family group photos?
Yes, absolutely. While I specialise in candid photography, I know how important those family records are. We usually spend 15-20 minutes blasting through the group shots efficiently so parents are happy, and then you can get straight back to the champagne and the party.
What is the "Analog Series" / vintage film add-on?
This is a special addition to my Tie The Knot package. Alongside your professional digital photos, I use a dedicated Fujifilm camera to shoot a specific set of images that emulate the look of classic 35mm film, with same or next-day previews so you're not left waiting. These have a nostalgic, grainy, "perfectly imperfect" vibe that is very popular right now.
What areas do you cover?
I'm based in Burnley and mostly cover the Ribble Valley, Manchester, Lancashire, and the North West. However, I love a road trip! If you are planning a wedding further afield, just let me know and we can chat about travel.
How do we receive our photos?
You'll receive a beautifully presented online gallery link, so you can browse, share, and download your high-resolution images straight to your phone or computer. You have full printing rights — share on social media or print for your walls without any watermarks. Just a heads up, downloads are available for a limited time, so I'd recommend saving your favourites once your gallery lands.
Do you offer anything for smaller or more intimate weddings?
es! I believe every couple deserves great photos, regardless of the size of their wedding. My Going To The Chapelpackage starts at £300 for 3 hours' coverage — perfect for registry office ceremonies or intimate elopements.
How do we book you?
It's super simple. If I'm free on your date, a small deposit secures the booking. The remaining balance isn't due until closer to the big day. Send me a message to check availability!
